More civilians were killed and injured in Ukraine by Russia in May than in any other month in the past four years, the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine. Russia is a terrorist state, still hoping to bomb Ukraine into submission after all these years. It didn't work before, and it won't work now.

Until medical professionals, health authorities, council employees and the police are held criminally accountable, these incident will simply keep happening.

We are very sorry to hear the news of the death of Michael Meadowcroft on 1 June - author, activist, Liberal MP 1983-87, member of the Journal of Liberal History Editorial Board, a thoughtful and generous Liberal. We'll carry a full obituary in the summer issue of the Journal.
