Putting terrorists and aggressors on the same moral plane as their victims and targets is repugnant. At best it whitewashes horrible crimes, at worst it feeds the culture of murder and martyrdom that Hamas espouses.
This day is profoundly painful for so many New Yorkers. It marks three years since the horrific war crimes of October 7. On that day, Hamas killed more than 1,100 Israelis and abducted 251 others. We grieve alongside our many friends and neighbors who still carry that unthinkable loss. The suffering did not begin nor end that day. It instead continued through the Israeli government’s devastating, ongoing genocide in Gaza, in which it has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians—including more than 21,000 children. Even since the so-called ceasefire, more than 1,400 Palestinians have been killed. That suffering has intensified with every Israeli bomb dropped on ambulances waiting outside hospitals, every drone strike targeting a residential building or journalist, and every shipment of food aid turned away at a border crossing. Many New Yorkers are reckoning with this unbearable grief, and we mourn alongside them – all while knowing that our tax dollars fund these war crimes. Three years later, we must refuse to accept a world in which occupation and apartheid continue, where war crimes are met with impunity, and our federal government continues its complicity with every arms shipment. To honor the dead, we must fight for a world in which every person can live with freedom, safety, and dignity.

One of the biggest holes in the fake Gaza "genocide" claim: actual military experts say Israel complied with the laws of war. 75 retired US military leaders, including 54 generals, have now confirmed it. The "genocide" narrative relies on academics with zero military expertise.
Breaking: "As retired senior military leaders and legal experts, on this, the third anniversary of Hamas's October 7, 2023 brutal attack on Israel, we reject claims that Israel committed genocide in Gaza." @jinsadc I am honored to be a part of 76 retired U.S. officers (including 13 Generals, 27 Lieutenant Generals, 19 Major Generals, 5 Brigadier Generals) Refuting the Genocide Allegation Against Israel. jinsa.org/wp-content/uploads… "The precedent established today regarding Israel will shape the conditions under which American forces fight tomorrow. Protecting civilians and preserving the ability of our nation to defend itself requires us to defend the truth when the laws of war are being distorted to make false charges of genocide."

What a wanker Piers Morgan is. If you actually understand 7 October, you know that the Israeli response in Gaza has been remarkably restrained. 65,000 targets struck and only 73,000 killed, with a third of those combatants. All wars feature civilian deaths. In spite of Hamas’s human sacrifice strategy, unparalleled in other recent conflicts, the IDF did a magnificent, platinum-standard job of sparing civilian life whilst conducting the essential task of dismantling Hamas’s capabilities and infrastructure. A new bar has been set for any other army fighting a war of this nature in future.

Read NYC Mayor’s message today. A masterclass in hijacking, erasure and inversion of October 7 (did something similar on this year’s 9/11). Once it is seen it is impossible to unsee.
Jews remember. Our enemies erase. While we mourn and bear witness to the pain, the horror, and the love, our enemies are hijacking, erasing and distorting October 7, so as to entrench the greatest blood libel against the Jews known as “Gaza genocide.” To remember is to resist.

Notice a curious thing: Saudi Arabia has been bombing Yemen relentlessly for weeks yet we have only a vague estimate of the casualties. "Dozens dead" and "some women and children." Yet in Gaza, we get exact numbers minutes after each strike. Why is that?

I found an amazing juxtaposition of two articles in the Manchester Guardian, October 8, 1938. One about Arab antisemitism and the other about Italian Fascist antisemitism. What they have in common is also what they have in common with modern "anti-Zionism." Link follows.

Three years after the catastrophic day Hamas unleashed on Israelis and on the Palestinian people in Gaza, the majority of the “pro-Palestine” industrial complex still refuses to utter a single word of condemnation or assign any responsibility to the Islamist terror group that destroyed the Gaza Strip and triggered the most calamitous chapter in modern Palestinian history. Today alone, I have seen dozens of posters and announcements for rallies, protests, and a so-called “week of rage.” Endless groups across the Western world, including the United States, whether community-based, campus-based, nonprofit, or cultural, are celebrating and commemorating “three years of resistance and genocide.” In almost comical language, many declare October 7 as the beginning of genocide in Gaza while making no mention of the bloodshed, murder, beheadings, torture, mutilation, burning people alive, executions, sexual assault, and hostage taking that initiated the disaster which befell the Palestinian people. It is as if Israeli and Jewish lives are invisible. As if civilians were not slaughtered in their homes while they slept. As if partygoers were not massacred. As if the attack was not entirely unprovoked while a ceasefire was in place between Israel and Hamas. It is a complete erasure of cause and effect and a refusal to grasp that choices and actions produce consequences. I have yet to see a mainstream Arab, Palestinian, or Muslim American organization, let alone prominent “pro-Palestine” academics, journalists, community groups, or notable individuals, issue a statement acknowledging Hamas’s responsibility and culpability for the devastation inflicted on Gaza. Even within the imbalance of power and the overwhelming suffering caused by Israeli decisions, there is still ample space to acknowledge the humanity of Israeli victims and the injustice of what happened to them. More importantly, there is immense space to speak honestly about the horrendous damage caused to Palestinians by the Jihadi fascism of Hamas, which has devastated Gazans over the two decades of its rule. Three years later, Israelis, Jews, and Zionists are commemorating the anniversary while engaging in introspection, critique, and calls for accountability for leaders, security services, and other political players. In contrast, instead of using the grim third anniversary of October 7 to learn and evolve, significant elements of the “pro-Palestine” industrial complex remain one of the most embarrassing and backward hate-driven movements in contemporary political activism. This is not a real pro-Palestine movement. It is a virulent anti-Israel bloc built on ignorance, mob mentality, open sympathy for terrorism, and sabotage of the Palestinian people’s legitimate pursuit of freedom and prosperity. Its regressive and poisonous rhetoric will not evolve into anything constructive. It should be treated with contempt, stripped of relevance, and isolated until it collapses and makes room for a serious effort that actually cares about Palestinians rather than the fantasies of wannabe revolutionaries.

Why don’t more people talk about the fact that ~2,200 Gazan civilians were involved in the October 7 Attacks? Gazan “civilians” directly participated in the massacre of Israeli civilians at Be’eri and Nir Oz. Civilians also participated in the abduction of Israeli hostages, including children and an 85-year-old woman. Others looted homes, desecrated bodies, and participated in the abuse of hostages. Gazan civilians were NOT merely innocent bystanders on October 7.

On the 24th anniversary of his illegal imprisonment, a reminder from me and Zeteo as to who Marwan Barghouti is, what he stands for, why Israel is so afraid of him, and the many ways in which his trial and sentencing were a joke:

A Palestinian father to his daughter on her wedding day, in her wedding dress: "We have sold you. From now on if you come to our house, you are just a guest. This is no longer your home." This is the custom in Muslim-majority areas. Where women and daughters are not respected, they are bought and sold like a property , from being property of dad , in marriage time , they become the husbands property. This is what feminists defend !

France is outraged by the high school protesters using the rap song MRH in their protest. In the song, they reference the Islamist terrorist Mohammed Merah who murdered 8-year-old Myriam Monsonego back in 2012 for being Jewish. On March 19th 2012, Mohammed Merah arrived at the Ozar Hatorah Jewish school in Toulouse heavily armed. He first shot Rabbi Jonathan Sandler and Sandler’s sons, Arieh and Gabriel, who were waiting near the gate. Myriam, the school director’s daughter, ran into the courtyard. Witnesses and later trial testimony said she turned back for her pink schoolbag with her favorite ballet slippers. She stumbled and was caught. Merah grabbed her by the hair and shot her in the head. He murdered 7 people in total

French rioters are blasting the rap song “MRH” which glorifies a terrorist who executed a 3 year old French Jewish child. Lyrics: “Like Mohamed Merah, dodging the cameras at the Bataclan, I shot him with my eyes, manhunt, Salah Abdeslam.” 14 years ago Mohammed Merah broke into a Jewish school in the French town of Toulouse and executed a pair of 3 year old and 5 year old French Jewish boys. He then chased an 8 year old Jewish girl named Myriam Monsonego. Merah caught her by her hair and raised a gun to execute her. His gun jammed, so he changed weapons. He then shot the little girl in the head while filming the execution with his GoPro. He later said that he carried out this crime to “uphold the honour of Islam.” He called it an act of revenge because “the Jews kill our brothers and sisters in Palestine.” According to one of his brothers, Merah was raised in an "atmosphere of racism and hatred" in their Muslim family. Merah's sister Souad later said, "I am proud of my brother. He fought until the end against the Jews, and all those who massacre Muslims, I detest them." According to his brother, when Merah's body was brought home, members of the local terrorist community visited the family to praise his actions and they cried tears of joy. Their only regret was that Merah had not killed more Jews. Merah was buried on 29 March 2012 in the Muslim section of the Cornebarrieu cemetery, near Toulouse. About 50 people attended, including the local imam. The mayor of Toulouse at the time tried to block Mohammed Merah’s burial, so French President Nicolas Sarkozy stepped in to support the burial. "He was French. Let him be buried and let's not have any arguments about it," Sarkozy said. Now he is held up as a hero by French rioters.
