But this isn't a scenario where we should be tanking for a better draft pick. This team is GOOD, they have a decent backup, and they're getting better under a great coach.
No, I don't expect miracles. Actually, I've lowered my extremely high expectations for this season tremendously in the past 24hrs. But I'm not rooting for losses, and I'm not throwing in the towel on the rest of the season because our fearless leader is done for the year.
Am I devastated by the injury? More than you can imagine. A season changing injury in Week 2 is freaking brutal, and for some reason, with this team, this year, it hurts differently.
I'm saying this with tears in my eyes and fists clenched:
