I value freedom of speech above all else. If I have the truth I need not fear lies. If I don’t have it, I need to find it.

I’m watching a Jewish guy who converted to Christianity roaming the streets of Jerusalem, openly talking about Jesus and trying to convert other Jews by the Western Wall. He seems completely at ease, as hundreds of Jewish passersby walk past them without incident. I couldn’t help but imagine, what if I stood by the Kaaba in Mecca and spoke about how I left Islam? How many pieces would I be found in after being recognized? And yet, the idiots in the West believe Christians are persecuted in Israel. You fools, not only are Christians not persecuted, but even Messianic Jews (Jews who convert to Christianity) have churches, live openly as Christians, and worship in peace. In Israel, there is real tolerance. Jews may not love Christianity, but they stop short of persecuting Christians. That is very different from the false American version of tolerance, where you may hate certain ideas but are forced to act as though you love them to avoid offending others, even when those ideas are destroying your society. In Israel, there are people who hate Christianity and do not want Christians converting their Jewish fellows. Some might spit at a missionary or in front of a church. They do not hide their hostility. But that is where it stops: what they think does not determine how Christians are allowed to live and worship. Under Islam, however, Christians live under systems of supremacy, forced to tiptoe around Islamic sensitivities because hostility won't be spitting, it is usually kidnapping their daughters, burning their churches and their homes, and beheading them.

Their hatred of the Jews clouds their judgement. I expect that kind of hatred from non-Christians, not from those who claim to follow the one who said, “love your enemies”. youtu.be/G1eHcz1gw3o

Satan does not know God. If he knew God, he would love God. To know God is to have eternal life (see John 17:3). “Seeing is not believing - it is only seeing.” - George MacDonald People saw Jesus, but did not know who he was or how good he is. To know him is to love him. It’s impossible to know what God is like and not love him. youtu.be/_T7-aUIfboA

Share posts from the brave women of Saudi Arabia who are fighting for freedom from this tool of oppression that masks a woman’s identity, mutes her inner light, and controls her body and her life. #free_your_face #No_niqab_2030 #٢٠٣٠_بلا_نقاب #no_more_Niqab 💚🙌💚🕊️
This is a clip from my talk at Harvard University, where I demonstrated just how isolating and disempowering the hijab and niqab can be. On the rare occasions Muslim women are allowed to leave their fundamentalist homes, they are forced to interact with the world through a veil of isolation - even expected to hide their voices from “strange” men. And yet, many in the West insist the niqab and hijab are apparently “empowering”. Just one day inside this body bag would undoubtedly change their minds.

“And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites. For they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward.” - Matthew 6:5

“Courage is not simply one of the virtues, but the form of every virtue at the testing point, which means, at the point of highest reality. A chastity or honesty or mercy which yields to danger will be chaste or honest or merciful only on conditions. Pilate was merciful till it became risky.” C. S. Lewis youtu.be/L9xZ8ec2qUk

As we judge we will be judged. Does this mean that if we judge unfairly, God will judge us unfairly? Not at all. If we unfairly condemn, or call that which is evil good, we will be justly condemned by the just judge, for judging unfairly. Be careful how you judge. With that in mind, try to be fair in your judgement regarding this issue. What do you think you would do if you were put in any of these situations? youtu.be/h7Q3Xc-jWEs

“Does God know his children well enough, to know how to get to them?” - Jordan Daniel Wood I’m super impressed with JDW. He has a beautiful mind. And he is kind to boot. He could have really embarrassed his opponent, but he did not. youtu.be/ooYjeUARWk0

So what kind of doctrine was this pilot radicalised into believing?

On September 11, 2003, the second anniversary of 9/11, I was still in Morocco, two masked men walked up to the only Jewish shopkeeper in the Qoréa market in Casablanca and shot him at close range as he was closing his wood shop. His name was Albert Rebibo. He was 55. Moroccan investigators tied the killing to a Salafia Jihadia cell. More than ten people were identified. Among those arrested were two former police officers. One of the gunmen was himself a former policeman, the other a former soldier. They did not rob him. They executed him, on that date, because he was a Jew. Hatred of Jews in Islamic societies runs deeper than you think.

Undiscerning Christians think that any criticism of Islam somehow means we are not being Christlike and that we are hindering our mission to reach them. Sorry, but that is as helpful as saying that the prophets of old should not have criticised the idolaters, false prophets, and false religions of the day, for fear of making them resistant to the truths of Yahweh. It is as helpful as saying that Jesus should not have said such mean things to the Scribes and pharisees, because he might have turned them off. It is as helpful as saying that Wilberforce should not have so strongly condemned slavery, the slave trade, and the slave traders, because that might have kept them from receiving the gospel.

If your priority is to avoid God’s punishment, you don’t know what God is like. Imagine an arranged marriage in which the woman has just been married for the second time. She has only been married for two weeks, but because her first husband abused her verbally and physically (anything that displeased him resulted in a severe beating), she is now afraid of being abused. Everything she says and does is motivated by her desire to avoid punishment. But her fear is misplaced. Her second husband loves her and wants her to know that she is safe, and she is loved. He would rather suffer than see her suffer. So why is she afraid? She is afraid because she doesn’t really know the man she has just married. The more and man is like Christ - the more he thinks and feels as Christ does about things - the more that man understands the mind of Christ. Correct hermeneutics is not enough to arrive at the truth about the nature of God and what he requires. Trust, obedience, and prayer, these alone can enable a person to know what God is really like. If your starting point is avoiding punishment from God, you may think you know what God is like, but you don’t. Your image of him is a poor caricature - which is nothing like Jesus. The Gospel - the good news - is the character of God as revealed in Christ. Jesus went around the country side preaching the Gospel. Everywhere he went he told people what his Father was like. This is the good news. I will post a video below about the goodness of God, and how it is impossible for anyone to see how good God is and not love him. And below that I will post an interview about a book which explains the sacrificial system and what atonement is all about.

All systems of government are flawed, as they all have some sort of incentive structure. Human nature being what it is, will always find ways to take advantage of the system. All systems lead to the haves and the have nots. I used to think communism could work if you had the right people in power. This man convinced me I was wrong (ignore the title, it’s a bit misleading). Communism is the worst possible system (with the exception of perhaps sharia, as people are more equal under communism than they are under sharia).* - *Under capitalism big business lobbies governments for regulations that will harm small business. Through this mechanism, small businesses go broke and big business begins to takeover. And of course there will always be dishonest businessmen and women. The one good thing about capitalism is that it does often - not always - reward hard work. Lots of small business owners work very hard, and often make less money than the people who work for them (only to go belly up at the end). youtu.be/oHpXjm78Pjs
