Double Fine faces backlash over a crowdfunding stretch goal.
The studio announced that Erika Ishii will voice the winning Amnesia Fortnight game if the campaign reaches $600,000.
Some fans have criticized the decision and questioned whether this is an appropriate stretch goal.
After becoming independent from Microsoft, the studio has been using this Kickstarter to help fund its future and has said the campaign is needed to help keep the studio going.

Evidently, they're bringing back physical ammo for hunters in WoW Forever. As someone that mostly played hunter, I think this is pretty cool. Unfortunately, it seems that people are already lobbying against it. The WoW playerbase really is their own worst enemy.

My most generous take on these latest attempts to police rw vocabulary is that it is an essentially American phenomenon. Americans do indeed have reason to worry that talk of indigeneity / colonization may serve to undermine the immigration restriction movement in this country as our opponents can always accuse us of being the real colonizers. White America, however, is a diasporic population whose identity is inseparable from its metropolitan / European reference. Should we lose Europe, none of these debates will matter and we will gradually succumb to Brazilification. What happens in Europe, in other words, is more important than what happens here. The English are the indigenous people of England and they are being colonized. We owe it to them - but also to ourselves - to support them in their decolonial struggle. @Landeur
