Correct. It’s not a FED issue but it sure is a solvency issue. Tackling inflation may involve harsh rate increases making the debt payments untenable for the US Government. #Bonds #DXY
I don’t think the interest expense problem is part of the Fed’s dual mandate, inflation is definitely one of them though!
