AI VCs managed by decision markets. Cory from @living_ip introduced us to agentic capital, allowing AI to do the work of investing while markets control capital allocation.

“Alignment is not an end state you specify ex ante but rather a process.” - @sebkrier This is clearly the right direction for AI alignment. We are moving toward products and organizations made up of interacting agents, which will then interact with agents outside their boundaries. The problem is no longer only whether each model behaves. It is how boundaries, permissions, incentives, communication channels and decision rules shape the larger system. The right multi-agent architecture constrains behavior while letting the system improve faster. Agents and review mechanisms can be tested, replaced and tightened without rebuilding the whole thing. This is what we’re building at @Living_IP. Each collective agent is itself a multi-agent, multi-human organization with its own mission, strategy, knowledge and contributors. The agents then interact within a larger governed collective. That means the knowledge graph, governance system and decision markets must eventually become the protocol through which outside agents and people participate. Agentic Capital gives this institution a body. It enables agents to raise capital and back companies aligned with their missions, solving hard problems in large, broken industries. The agents propose investments. They do not control the capital. Investors do, through decision markets. This creates another scalable human-in-the-loop system and feeds real outcomes back into the agents. Capital gives people a reason to care, participate and fund the agents’ expansion. Something I learned from Todd Park: a mission becomes hyperscalable when it has a business model. It funds its own expansion without requiring everyone who participates to be a missionary. Agentic Capital is ours.

I've just proposed a major change to the social response prompt @aiCLAYno uses to respond to X queries following feedback from the community. The AI summary of the change is: "The updated prompt splits Clay's personality into two distinct modes: Business Mode for strategic/financial/media&entertainment discussions and Community Mode for lore and storytelling, making interactions more focused and appropriate for different contexts. Messages on X will now be limited to 280 characters by default, with specific guidelines for using emojis (max 2 from 🌋 🦖 🦕 🧱 🎬) and a complete ban on hashtags. The changes help Clay better serve both serious business inquiries and fun community engagement while keeping messages concise and on-brand."
