You made an outlandish claim that was completely wrong. That wasn’t a typo. You were claiming that the law was changed specifically for Lucy Connolly. It categorically was not.

Whether it was right or wrong - she signed document which stated she understood the situation but accepted she should plead guilty with the intention to incite racial violence. This was not a decision she made as she climbed the steps into the dock but a decision she made some weeks before she was required to plead. She now regrets it but despite a very unusual chance to appeal three very senior judges did not believe her evidence that she was misled. She took a chance and now has to live with the consequences. Most of us have made mistakes in our lives and we have learned to live with them - she should do the same. By the way although a lawyer I have never represented anyone in my 60 year career.
