Why is it illegal to have a 45 year old man have sex with a 10 year old but legal if they are married?

🚨A BRITISH SOLDIER SPEAKS FOR MILLIONS “I sacrificed my life to secure this country's freedom and its freedom of speech — and now you arrest people for words while turning a blind eye to crimes committed by invaders. You are a disgrace to your uniform and you are an insult to mine.” A moment like this cuts through everything. When a serving soldier—in full uniform—has to remind the police what this nation stands for, it proves just how far we’ve fallen. Britain’s armed forces understand sacrifice, duty, and loyalty to the people. They also see betrayal when it's unfolding right in front of them. This is not about politics. This is about truth, honour, and the survival of the nation our soldiers pledged their lives to defend. History will look back on these days, and those who stayed silent will not be remembered kindly. FOLLOW ME, NEXT DROP WILL BE SHOCKING.

A letter from Mel Bourne on Facebook — 11 March —— Worth a read! *Dear Prime Minister, Yesterday you were focused on delivering, the day before that you were focused on woman in parliament, the day before that you were focused on rights to work from home, and today your focus is on keeping us safe. Tomorrow can you please focus on building some oil refineries so that we aren’t reliant on the rest of the world? Can you also focus on scrapping net zero, Australia needs cheap reliable and dispatchable coal and nuclear power? On Thursday, can you please focus on spending less of our money, your unproductive spending is driving up inflation? On Friday, can you please focus on lowering immigration so that the people already in Australia can afford a home? I know that you usually spend your weekends either at sporting events or in your $4 million mansion, but on Saturday could you please focus on sacking Chris Bowen, he’s becoming quite the pest. On Sunday, could you please focus on coming out to regional and rural Australia and talking to them about Water, Renewables and 30x30, we’re pretty pissed off out here and there’s a number of people that would like to talk to you about your performance. Next Monday, being the start of a new week, can you please start focusing on sacking some of the thousands of bureaucrats, 17% of the Australian workforce is now paid for by the taxpayer, and not a single one of them produce anything at all, they’re a drain on Australia’s productivity. I will check in next week to see how you went, yes it’s kinda like we have to performance manage you, as you aren’t delivering on what you promised. #Credit: Dick Roberts FB

Area 51 Late one afternoon, the Air Force folks out at Area 51 were very surprised to see a Cessna landing at their "secret" base. They immediately impounded the aircraft and hauled the pilot into an interrogation room. The pilot's story was that he took off from Vegas, got lost, and spotted the Base just as he was about to run out of fuel. The Air Force started a full FBI background check on the pilot and held him overnight during the investigation. By the next day, they were finally convinced that the pilot really was lost and wasn't a spy. They gassed up his airplane, gave him a terrifying "you-did-not-see-a-base" briefing, complete with threats of spending the rest of his life in prison, told him Vegas was that-a-way on such-and-such a heading, and sent him on his way. The day after that though, to the total disbelief of the Air Force, the same Cessna showed up again. Once again, the MP's surrounded the plane...only this time there were two people in the plane. The same pilot jumped out and said, "Do anything you want to me, but my wife is in the plane and you have to tell her where I was last night!"

This was me on @News24Aust yesterday. The Federal and State governments are actively making it harder for the RBA - and mortgage-payers. (It's not really 'the quiet part, out loud' from me - as Ryan says, I've been saying it for yonks - but it is for the government.) If you're interested - have a look.
Motley Fool CIO Scott Phillips just said the quiet part out loud on News24 with Peter Stefanovic. Chalmers is heating the economy up while the Reserve Bank is trying to cool it down. Phillips: “Why are you running a deficit budget, adding stimulus to the economy?” “They’re literally heating up the economy, while the Reserve Bank is trying to take money out of the economy and cool things down” That’s the whole game, one hand on the accelerator, the other on the brake. Mortgage holders cop the bill. Stefanovic pressed the contradiction that Labor never wants on camera: “if Michele Bullock is jacking rates to choke demand and kill inflation, why is Treasury still running a deficit and pumping extra spending into the same economy? That’s not responsible budgeting” That’s the government pouring fuel on the fire the RBA is trying to put out. Deficit spending is stimulus. Full stop. It adds demand, it keeps prices high, it keeps the cash rate higher for longer. Then Chalmers fronts up and pretends inflation is all Iran, all “global shocks,” anything except the budget he actually controls. Phillips has been saying this for years: “fiscal policy and monetary policy are working against each other, Canberra spends and the RBA tightens” Households get smashed in the middle. If the Treasurer wanted to help the RBA, he’d stop adding stimulus, he’d stop running deficits into an economy that’s already too hot. He won’t, because the spend is the politics. One policy fights inflation. The other fights the next election. Guess which one wins.

When Dean Martin entered the set of his television show he often jumped on the piano to startle the pianist. On this ocassion the crew had substituted the piano for a dummy one - unbeknownst to Dean or the audience

In 2011, Jon Bon Jovi and his wife, Dorothea, opened a restaurant with no prices on the menu. One evening, a woman who had been struggling sat down to her first proper meal in months. When she braced herself to say she could not pay, a waiter handed her a note instead: donate if you can, or volunteer your time if you cannot. No questions. No shame. She chose to wash dishes. For the first time in a long while, she felt seen. That is the idea behind JBJ Soul Kitchen in New Jersey. Guests who can pay help cover meals for others. Guests who cannot volunteer. Everyone gets the same fresh three-course meal, with the same dignity. Since opening, JBJ Soul Kitchen has served more than 200,000 sit-down meals, opened more locations, and kept feeding people through Superstorm Sandy and COVID. Those crisis meals are on top of that number. Jon Bon Jovi is famous for filling stadiums. One of his better legacies is simpler: kindness lands best when it leaves a person their pride. Sometimes the most important thing a meal gives someone is the reminder that they still matter. ❤️

Why does modern culture treat slavery as a uniquely Western invention? • Transatlantic trade: ~400 years • Arab-Muslim trade: ~1,300+ years (capturing millions of Africans and over 1M Europeans) The West was the first civilization to systematically abolish slavery globally, yet receives 100% of the condemnation. Selective history isn't justice….it's propaganda….and it’s pathetic…
