I had so much fun with @mbmcandrews and @GaylyDreadful and @GoreAbrams unpacking childhood nightmares and the films that caused them.
If you haven’t watched Mommie Dearest yet, use this as an excuse to watch before you listen. Trust me the movie is worth it.
This week @mbmcandrews and @GaylyDreadful chat w/ Hell House LLC's @hypobifty and @GoreAbrams about their new short film/proof of concept Locations, working together, creepy stories and then find out why Mommie Dearest terrified Gore growing up!

This is the power of film… take time out of your day to watch this. It’s worth it. Trust me.
My mom died when I was 17. I only have a handful of pictures and zero videos of her. A couple years ago, on my birthday, I got a text from a number I didn’t recognize. It simply said “happy birthday” with a YouTube link. I clicked it and my heart stopped. It was my mom.
I had to pull over immediately. She was telling me how proud she was of me and how she wondered what I’d become. Maybe a policeman, a preacher, or even a clown. I couldn’t believe it.
Well, it turns out the random phone number was my friend Jon’s dad, who had found this video on an old VHS tape they made before a 1999 school event. I was 16.
This experience got me thinking... what if we could have one last conversation with someone we lost?

It’s happening.
Tomorrow is the release of THE STEPFATHER in 4K! Woo hoo! I saw the film again after many years when Jackson Stewart and I did commentary for this 4K release! It’s a special one! If you haven't seen it, I think you will love it!!!
Huge thanks to @shout_studios and all the fans who keep THE STEPFATHER (1987) alive and kicking (despite my character stabbing him in the heart)! Much love!

So... I misread the information about Hell House playing at Alamo. It's playing in Brooklyn! Not Texas!
So of course I will be there!
@AlamoNYC I cannot wait!
@sajc05 You gotta get a ticket and come!
Happy Halloween everyone!
