On launch day, as we helped the Artemis II crew get suited up and ready to board their spacecraft, Victor looked at me, pointed to my name tag patch, and asked, “Can I?” To which I ecstatically replied yes
He took it off my suit, carried it into Integrity, placed it on the wall, and flew it to the Moon.
I honestly don’t have the words to describe what it means to own something that was part of such a historic mission — something that actually traveled to the Moon. It’s a piece of history that I will cherish for the rest of my life, and something I hope to pass down through my family for generations.
To
@AstroVicGlover and the entire Artemis II crew: thank you for thinking of us and taking our name tags along for the journey.
It literally means the world to us.
