BREAKING: A large plume of smoke and fire was seen rising near an Aramco facility in Riyadh on Saturday, according to a witness who spoke to Reuters.
The fire comes amid escalating hostilities between Saudi Arabia and Iran-aligned Houthi rebels in Yemen, who have stepped up attacks on Saudi cities and energy infrastructure.
Meanwhile, two oil tankers were struck by unidentified projectiles within 24 hours. One was hit Friday while leaving the Strait of Hormuz, causing a small fire and loss of power. Another was struck early Saturday off Oman. No injuries were reported.
