Dr Achim Weber at @FraunhoferIGB partner presented LoopOfFun project at the Formnext Trade Fair in Frankfurt (19-21 Nov, 2024)-the global hub for additive manufacturing and industrial 3D printing. Our 3D-printed Fungal-based ELMs samples were displayed at the trade show.

It is satisfying that we can finally present a high-resolution structure of a coiled-coil protein origami. Previously we designed many new folds, from tetrahedra to bipyramid, where shapes were confirmed by SAXS and EM but too flexible to crystallize and too small for cryoEM.🧵
