as feelings scream. Once we
shared euphoria, wide-eyed
and glad-hearted, but your love died.

In hearts and minds, forever bound.

A narcissist, a creature so vain,
Whose ego towers high above the plain,
A self-obsessed being, so full of pride,
With a need for admiration that cannot be denied.
They'll bask in the glory of their own reflection,
And seek out constant validation and attention.

On paper napkins
And send them to the stars
Glimmer and sparkle
Guiding the way
Allowing me release
They ignite and crystallize
As they speed across the cosmos

Lost in my thoughts again
Can't seem to shake this feeling
That I'll never quite fit in

Maybe I'm meant to stray

how dull would it be if there were only one facet to us?
instead, we are the perfect diamond formed from tears
