Instead of being feared, or revered to something akin to a god, he is treated as a commodity. Something people can and WILL touch. They will bash, lust after, and just invade his space without any consideration becaus he is the NATION, and aren't they part of him too?

I think that the reason why they gave such a lax view of him its because Alfred wasnt "worshiped" like Kiku prob was. He was to his people a fellow man, something specific to the nations of newer republics. But it also means that the dehumanization goes the other way around

Posters, gossip magazines, straight up advertisements of public proyects to actual brands, SNL... if uou were in new york or D.C you prob would find him eating a burger somewhere. People would ask for photos, like taking photo of a monument, a memento of ur stay

Kiku's media presence is more conservative, acting like the nations grandpa than a celebrity. He can appear in a variety show once in a while, but most of his media appearances are in goverment related stuff. Alfred? He's has mellowed out in recent years but he was EVERYWHERE

On the topic of nation chasers, i do believe that Alfred would be lusted over quite frequently: Workers tend to get very handsy Photoshots where he gets to show a lor more skin than normal Celebrities that ask him if he would be a good lay And kiku doesn't like that at all

Another related question its how much would their citizens separate the state to them. Like if they hate ur goverment or nation state, would they also hate their nation guy? Would anti-X country propaganda would have nations in them getting impaled like anti putin or trump?
