Can’t believe it’s been 19 years since the best game of all time was released. Literally nothing has come close to the marketing this game had on the run up to launch. Halo 3 was, and still is a masterpiece piped.video/a3ZGGIdpfEM?is=3IwU…

Apple products are genuinely packaged in such a solid way, I’ve never owned an android device but is there a similar level of build quality to them?

Introducing Claude Opus 5.5, the first model in our new Claude 5.5 family. It performs at the level of Claude Fable 5.1 for most tasks, and costs 40% less to run than Opus 5.

Most clients have rebranded once, maybe twice, ever. We do it daily. It's easy to forget how big and strange the whole thing feels from their side.

Three weeks in the detail trenches of perfecting a logo and you become blind to it. Every mark we send out gets tested at every scale for exactly this reason. Squint at your phone tiny through to 600% on the Illustrator canvas. Then a break and fresh eyes, also a non negotiable step. Flip it, rotate it, invert it, check every which way it can be read. Sounds excessive but it helps you clock stuff like the new "In Us" game logo doing the rounds. Projects like this happens to the best of us, usually only once.

Genuine question, how do people organise their brains to focus on one thing? Theres so much I want to be doing at any given time and I’m finding it harder to focus on something singular lately. Could just be the result of being a new Dad and having my brain completely rewired, but would be open to any techniques to help focus.

One of my favourite parts of every project is watching the pieces slowly come together. Getting a glimpse of what the brand will look like is so sick, never gets old.

I can't draw at all, but sketching is still one of the most useful tools I've got for logo design. For Switchfrog we'd landed on the frog as the primary mark, but it needed something that was uniquely theirs. A monogram felt right. I could've spent days working that out in Illustrator. Instead I took the rough structural concept from Illustrator onto the iPad and sketched over the top. Sketching frees me from trying to make things pixel perfect. There's no urge to sit there rounding corners properly, just moving fast and loose until something clicks. Super hyped with where we landed, and we wouldn't have got there without sketching.
