Second announcement! Geeked to share I'll be stepping in as Director of Athlete Services & Logistics with @USAEsportsOrg as we prepare to send a delegation of nearly 100 players to the inaugural Esports Nations Cup this November. A national governing body means more students get real pathways into a generational sport. Getting to help build that is an honor. If you're a player, org, or agent and my name hits your inbox, now you know why. Lets bring home gold!🥇

Excited to be attending Riptide this weekend last-minute! I'll be spectating, volunteering and chatting with college esports folks. Im always amazed by the amount of effort and elbow grease that goes into putting on a major like this. Cant wait to cheer on players and teams.

Great moments are born from great opportunity... The USA NTDP is headed to Korea to face off against some of the best in the world. 🏟️ Busan Cinema Center, South Korea 🆚 Team Korea 📅 September 19th 📺 Exclusively on Disney+

TLDR USA Esports was invited to this event. The dates overlap with LCS playoffs so we couldn't send our ENC roster. It also overlaps with Tier 2 playoffs. This is an incredible opportunity to give to our players and we are excited to celebrate/send Team Korea off to the Asian Games. ----------- Our dream is to build a program that gives America’s up and coming players consistent international experiences and opportunities for development. This is the primary purpose of the NTDP. With the LCS playoffs overlapping with this event leaving the main USA Esports roster unavailable, we saw this as the perfect chance to send this group of players and give them an unforgettable experience. As our organization continues to mature, we will share more information about the National Team Development Program, its ambitions, and its roadmap.

Who's ready for another great season! @PowerEsportsCon

Sharing for visibility to all of our supporters, here is the message I sent to the USA team: "Hey everyone, you've probably seen the news by now that EF is postponing ENC to November 2027. Won't sugarcoat it, it's disappointing. Doesn't feel good to think about the time our players, coaches, and staff took out of their lives to get us ready for November. That said, nothing about our mission has changed. We exist to grow esports in the US and win medals which is a 20 year project, not a 2026 project. EF has confirmed its commitments to national team partners remain in place which is good. I just spent the past week in Paris with delegations from 30 other countries and the momentum behind nation based competition is legit and growing, but no doubt this is a speed bump. I'll be meeting with our leadership team and board over the coming days and weeks to work through what this means for our fall plans. Will share more as soon as I can. We'll take care of our people and pivot as needed. Some doors close and others open. Equanimity friends, don't fret. Jesse 🇺🇸♥️"

Esports and suffering remain inseparable. And if you are in this community and also wish to avoid the pain, you’ve chosen the wrong industry. I know the effort our and other countries leadership, players, coaches, and staff have poured into getting us all to this point. Heart breaking news for many of us but I promise you won’t regret your efforts. And this won’t stop @USAEsportsOrg or @clerkie et al. - the mission wasn’t ‘26 ENC success; we’re here to foster the growth and long-term success of gaming in USA. We are the first generation through the wall, heartache is part of the deal. This will serve as a reminder that those here for the right reasons will persevere, and so we will.

Such a critical step forward for reviving League of Legends in the scholastic & collegiate pipeline. We're proud to have worked with Riot actively over the past 6 months and share feedback from our members & the home office along with others to drive these key changes.

ISEA was proud to have provided some assistance in the drafting of these new guidelines.
