Idaho values life, and Idahoans are united against Prop 1!
Great night in Idaho Falls answering questions about Prop 1 and Idaho’s current abortion laws. Thank you to Reps. Ehardt, Cannon, and Erickson for joining me on the panel, and to Sen. Lent for being with us before he hit the road. Idaho is strongest when we stand together.

Idaho ag doesn’t have a labor shortage. It has a wage problem. Pay Americans a fair wage, and they will show up. Hire the kid from church. Buy from the farmer down the road. That’s how we rebuild an economy that serves our people.

Another @Tommy4Trump420 GiveSendGo. This time it's $25K for a lawyer to fight another assault charge. He brags he makes more than everybody. Bought a motorcycle. Eats out every day. Had other people pay his rent, his cars, his move. He couldn't save a dime? Donate and you're a fool.

🚜 Idaho is cutting red tape and supporting farmers & ranchers during harvest. I signed an executive order pausing state dyed diesel inspections for 30 days as we review policies and identify common-sense reforms. We’re giving producers breathing room when diesel costs are high and supporting the people who keep our state moving.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has recently undertaken a series of intensive diplomatic visits across Europe. As shown in the images, Zelenskyy met with in clockwise order—European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and French President Emmanuel Macron. These photos highlight Zelenskyy’s signature diplomatic appearance: clad in a black knit sweater, engaging closely often with an embrace with these national leaders. Analysts believe this series of high-level meetings aims to consolidate European political and military support for Ukraine amidst the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Today in History October 1st 1890 – Yosemite National Park is established by the U.S. Congress. Yosemite National Park, in California’s Sierra Nevada, is one of America’s most celebrated landscapes—a place of soaring granite cliffs, thundering waterfalls, giant sequoias, alpine meadows, and deep wilderness. Established on October 1, 1890, the park protects nearly 750,000 acres, ranging from foothill chaparral and oak woodland to high-elevation granite peaks. Its best-known landmarks include El Capitan, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls, and the Mariposa Grove of giant sequoias. Yosemite Falls drops 2,425 feet in three stages, making it North America’s highest waterfall. Glaciers shaped much of the park’s dramatic scenery, carving Yosemite Valley’s broad floor and steep, U-shaped walls over immense spans of time. Long before federal protection, Yosemite was home to Indigenous peoples, including the Ahwahneechee, whose descendants and cultural traditions remain an essential part of the region’s history. In 1864, President Abraham Lincoln signed the Yosemite Grant, preserving Yosemite Valley and the Mariposa Grove for public use; the broader national park followed in 1890 after advocacy by conservationists including John Muir. Today, Yosemite supports more than 400 vertebrate species across habitats ranging from conifer forests to alpine rock. It remains a powerful symbol of conservation, adventure, and the enduring grandeur of the American West. #1890 #YosemiteNationalPark #TodayInHistory #OnThisDayInHistory
