Finally I'm back into building and in the last few days I've learned how/what to improve on ignara and even on myself. I always thought ignara idea was always a bad idea but the problem is how I pitched it,no traction,no MVP yet. What is one thing you learned about your startup?

48% of people thought this was a real human in live video. Previous systems were under 3%. Full duplex, real time vision + speech, generates the whole frame. The capability jump is clear. The misuse surface just got a lot wider too
Introducing Griffin, the first model to pass the video Turing test. 48% of people who talked to it live thought it was a real human. Previous systems have had a pass rate <3%. It is #1 on NVIDIA's benchmark for full-duplex AI video. It’s the first Human Interaction Model (HIM).
Community note
The 48% figure and "video Turing test" claim are from Tavus's own study of 54 one-minute calls, not independently verified or using a standard protocol. Griffin-Lite leads NVIDIA's VideoFDB benchmark on their public leaderboard. cellcog.ai/blog/tavus-gri… research.nvidia.com/labs/amri/proj… tech-ish.com/2026/10/02/tav

I don’t build landing pages and call it a product😤😤 for most of you who don't know I build the full system, auth, payments, database, AI functions, the actual logic that has to keep working after launch. That’s the only work I take.

Muse is interested in helping you build a good life with less stress and doubt while @ignara__ is interested in helping you build a better financial capability and psychology but the story around the two project are just very different

I love what Dan is doing, but I can't agree with this, and it itches hard when I read "what's in it for me?". Things don't have to be for you or for me all the time. I hate how transactional the world has become. The person asking sometimes doesn't even know what to ask. They just ask what they can in order to get your thoughts, impressions, anything they can work with or unravel the conversation. You're the northern star of what they want to become, you're what they measure their work and thoughts against. How can this be transactional? I was like this, my absolute legends were and are @DavidAirey @claudioguglieri @creativedash @yocline I was and still am looking up to them, I was searching for every bit of their thinking, work, anything that would get me behind the curtains just a tiny bit. It'd break my heart if they'd say "What's in it for me, you're pitching me now". I know they wouldn't, because instead what I've got was the warmest words, uplifting and supporting I've ever could. Motivated me to get through any wall I could face.
No, I won’t check out your portfolio. Here’s why. Anytime you ask someone to do something, it’s a pitch. In a pitch, say what’s in it for the other person. What’s in it for me to check out your portfolio? Why would I spend my time, energy, and attention—all of which I value highly—on that as opposed to anywhere else? If there’s nothing in it for me, then you’re asking for charity. If you’re asking for charity, then ask for charity. Make it clear. I like doing favors sometimes and being charitable sometimes. But I can’t tell if that’s what you’re asking for, and I won’t assume it. Even if I agreed to it, you haven’t even given me any criteria. Is there something specific you want help with? Something to improve? Something you’re stuck on? Some job it’s not doing? General questions get general answers. Specific questions get specific answers. Since I don’t know what you want help with and there doesn’t seem to be much incentive for me, it’s a pass. Here are some examples of pitches I would consider more (even if I’d still say no): “Dan, would you be willing to do me a favor and review my portfolio to help me land a design job working on a U.S.-based team for a fintech startup?” “Dan, can you please review my portfolio to see if the UI design work feels closer to junior or senior caliber? I’ll make a donation to your favorite non-profit as a token of thanks.” “Dan, would you mind looking at my portfolio to see if I’m the kind of person you’d hire? I know you value your time, attention, and energy, so I’d gladly take any feedback you can provide after looking for even 30 seconds.” @odeniransulaimo, wanna pitch again? I’m open to you trying again if you’d like. But even better: pitch someone who’s in a closer position to help you get what you want. If you want a job at a sports betting startup, pitch a hiring manager at a sports betting startup to check out your portfolio. Even if they won’t hire you for THEIR startup, their feedback would be way more relevant to getting a job at a sports betting startup than my feedback would be, since I’ve never worked at a sport betting startup. In short, when you pitch, make it about them and make it as easy as possible for them to give you what you want.

Most client work I do now includes both SEO and AEO from the start. Not as an afterthought. Not as a separate phase. If the site can’t be found by search or by AI answers, the rest of the work doesn’t matter much. Simple standard I keep.

Most of you still haven't realized that you don't need to use GitHub - and it's wild to me 😅 You can literally self-host your own Git platform. I have no idea why you'd suffer everyday clicking around in GitHub and AWS when you can literally use Forgejo and Coolify to host it yourself. Let me show you 👇

Hardest part of building Ignara wasn’t the AI It was making the system remember context properly across sessions without turning into an expensive mess Most AI tools feel smart in a moment & stupid the next day 'cause memory is treated as an afterthought I spent weeks on this

When solving a problem and building something meant to last, think 5–10 years ahead. Don’t rush the vision, but don’t spend a year building If it would take 1 year to build, make it exist in 3 weeks. Then keep learning from customers, the market, and what you see every day

Every founder wants attention on launch day. Right up until they get it. Yesterday we launched Boardy 2.0 on iMessage. That morning, our biggest worry was whether the launch posts sounded like AI wrote them. Later that day, @ChrisMessih posted in Slack: "Bro just do whatever u can so we don't go down during a launch" New priorities. More people messaged @boardyai than we'd planned for, and his replies slowed down. Then @X decided the people engaging with our launch were bots (they weren't). So much for worrying about sounding like a bot. It's funny now. It wasn't funny watching people try Boardy for the first time and wait for him to answer. You know how hard the team worked. You want everyone to see what you've been dying to show them. Every slow reply feels like a first impression you won't get back. Half the team was already in San Francisco for @hf0. Half were still in Toronto. Everyone was fixing things live. It was a stressful day. I'm proud of this team and glad I got to do it with them.
