Snooker Twitter's Resident SEND Expert. TA wannabee Teacher, Views all my own (unless you don't like them), also try and crosspost to BlueSky (@latifury147)

Manchester (eternally)
There's no answer to whether a specialist SEN school is "better" than a mainstream school for pupils with additional needs, because there's no catch-all solution for every student. I personally went to a mainstream school, because my parents didn't think I would benefit (1/?)

Rewatching the 2002 World Final, it's amazing how badly Hendry played in the first four frames, and Clive Everton talking about how tired Hendry is after his semi-final, ignoring the fact that Ebdon was the one in a decider in the Semis

Right everyone, here's a question for you all that I've wondered all day: What is your worst/least favourite Snooker World Championship that you've seen? The one that felt the least like the showpiece it's meant to be bc of match quality/winner/lack of interest? Mine is 2025

I mean I couldn't stand Tyson Fury anyway, but now I want Joshua to cave his face in (this is the first time I've ever had any opinion on boxing aside from it being barbaric btw)
Tyson Fury plans to ask US president Donald Trump to lead his ring walk before fighting Anthony Joshua. "I'll definitely make that offer to my old buddy, old pal, and we'll see if he's available," the former heavyweight champion said 🗣️

I think we can really see here that beating Selby was Judd's personal final...

I'm sorry guys, mine's actually pretty boring, it would be my Mum, my best friend from Uni, my best friend from work, and I'd probably auction the last three spots off, then give them the wrong address if I don't like 'em!
Guys if you had a dinner party and you had six people to ask for the evening who would you chose ?? Mine would be Mohamed Ali , Nelson Mandela, Pele , Michael Jackson ,Princess Diana and JFK ! Some night that would be !!!!💙

It's funny, I put Lady Vanishes on earlier, watched it for a few minutes, and no lady vanished, so I switched it off again

Question for the Day: If we can put men on the moon, make trains that go more than 350 miles every hour, and have created sentient AI that is threatening the species that created it... WHY ARE THERE NO DIRECT TRAINS FROM MANCHESTER TO LEICESTER?

I mean it wouldn't have been my first priority, I think my priorities would be 1) Wondering how on earth I'm still alive b) Hoping anyone else in the car is still alive iii) Calling an ambulance .) Getting as far away from the road as possible

Congratulations to Malta's Aaron Busuttil, who won the 2nd Q Tour event of the season today, defeating 17 year old Edward Jones 4-0 in the final. Busuttil dropped just a single frame in three matches today against Riley Powell (4-0), Sybren Sokolowski (4-0) and Jones (4-0) (1/2)

With this win, Aaron becomes the first Maltese player to win a Q Tour event, elevating him to second in the provisional Q Tour standings behind Sanderson Lam. A reminder, top of the standings after 7 events gets a tour card, next 16 go into the Global Playoffs for another

The Polish onslaught on the Q Tour continues! Tomasz Skalski, winner of one match in two appearances on the Q Tour last season, has a fourth win in this event, Ryan Davies joining Jay Bullen, Jack Bradford and Callum Beresford. Faces 17 year old Edward Jones in the Quarters!

Since you've stopped people replying Alyssa, I thought I would repost to not only tell you how much you contribute to our community, but show you that others believe that as well. I understand it's easy to think that you aren't good enough, but trust me, you're MORE than enough
Seeing how much all of my Snooker friends have greatly contributed to the game throughout these last several years, it makes me wish that one day in the future when I'm much older, I could also do the "SnookerTwitter" community proud, like you all have on multiple occasions. Honestly, I don't deserve to be part of such a spectacular group of people, or should I say legends. 🥰🙏 #snooker #community

Great Q School Event 2 for Polish snooker, three representatives in the Last 16, Krzysztof Czapnik (a name I had a lot of trouble spelling), Sebastian Milewski and Tomasz Skalski (who is nearly twice the age of the other two and is the last Pole standing, leads R. Davies 2-1)

Whenever Matt Selt blows his top now, it is 100% being called a Seltdown
Replying to @GWSnookerTips
I think the correct term you're searching for is a 'Seltdown'
