We’re aware of an issue with the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, that can occur if you start playing the game while it’s still downloading but the system has told you it’s ready to play.
If you do this, a malfunction may occur when reaching a certain point in the game if you keep playing after the download has completed.
To avoid this issue, please save and quit to the title screen at least once after the download has completed. You may then safely resume gameplay. We plan to release a hotfix for this issue in the near future.

We've implemented a change to allow players who make new save data in the full version of the game to still be able to carry over their trial version save data.
If you do not see the "Transfer Trial Version Data" option on the title screen, please reset your PC and check the following Steam troubleshooting guide:

#MHStories 3 Important Note Regarding Save Data Transfer
Please note that attempting to transfer save data across to the full game by manually renaming the demo save file and copying it to the full version's save data will prevent the transfer from working correctly. This may cause unexpected behaviour, such as the game crashing.
Please use the dedicated in-game save data transfer method to avoid this issue. (To use this method, please ensure to save manually to Save Slot 1 in the demo if you have only been using auto-save.)

An important note for players wishing to transfer save data from the Trial Version of Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection to the full game: auto-save data cannot be transferred, so please ensure to manually save the game to save slot 1 in the Trial Version first if you haven't already, as this is save data slot that the main game will transfer over.
