Fun fact: I’ve worked on Death Battle episodes in SFM and Blender, but this was the only one where we used Unreal Engine. It was also my shortest contribution to a DB, which actually worked in my favor. I got to give individual shots more attention, but the spinning staff scene was probably my favorite to animate. One of my biggest challenges as an animator is spreading myself too thin. When I get the chance to really focus on a smaller chunk of a project, it’s always rewarding. Pace yourselves animators! Time management is literally everything!
