One feature of Marketism is the presence of many buyers and sellers in close proximity. Another feature is labels and brands tend to be weak in Marketism. Think of the stuff you buy at a swap meet — no real guarantees regarding product quality.

I discovered something called Marketism from reading the Bible. Basically open air markets have existed for millenniums but there was no real capital raising so it isn’t capitalism, which came in 1600/1700s and then in 1800s capital raising got gigantic. Marketism is something you find still today when you go to a swap meet

I’m all for making fruits and vegetables less expensive or more organically, less chemically processed. There might be better food-chemical transparency law where you could scan QR codes and aggregate your exposure per shopping trip or something like that. Leave food processing companies with discretion as they struggle with government caused inflation

Have you ever had an EU/Mexico made soda. They don’t taste good at all. Why is Congress trying to interfere with American foods.
