Another car pulled into our parking lot right after I did yesterday. He asked me where I’m from in Illinois and after I told him Bourbonnais, he says “me too.” Small world! Shoutout to my new pal Rob

Taking in my first Friday Night Lights in Michigan. I’m told pork chop sandwiches “aren’t a thing” here, but other than that I have no complaints

Good luck to all of our football teams as the season starts tonight. It’s also the first day of football card season for me today with the release of 2026 Topps Flagship.

Said will be starting next week and I couldn’t be happier for our community. You’re gonna be awesome!
UPDATE: As my internship @memphisnews concludes this weekend, I’m excited to announce I’ll be heading back up north to join @shawlocalnews as a sports reporter @TDJsports covering preps in the Kankakee area.
Forever grateful for @SJI_Update and The CA for an incredible summer!

Now that my Journal tenure is over, I’m excited to say I’ll have a bit of a different job in sports in Michigan, where I’ve accepted a job in sports cards. Gonna officially start my card tweets by humbly bragging about a couple shed finds of mine while packing last week.
