Last week we housed someone who had been sleeping on the streets. He fell asleep at 2 pm and slept until 6 am. 16 hours of sleep. Safe. In a bed. In a quiet and cool place. This work is hard, impactful, and hopeful. And we are here for it, for as long as we are needed. #LNK

Lunch today was fried rice, homemade eggrolls, chicken & vegetable soup, and fresh fruit. We served 100+ people but couldn't come up with a way to measure the amount of love that went into the prep and serving of the meal. We'll just say it was a lot. Thank you, volunteers. 🧡

This little guy is helping us celebrate Juneteenth with a history lesson on his t-shirt and the joy and hope on his face. Today we stand together, reflecting on how far we’ve come and the work still ahead. #Juneteenth

Brian and Deb are smiling because Tom came to thank them for helping him get his birth certificate ($17) and a state ID ($24). Those 2 vital identification documents helped Tom achieve his goal of getting a full-time job after being unhoused for 4 years.givetolincoln.com/nonprofits…
