The weird way that some comedians can also kind of sing has always been baffling to me lol
The running gag of Benson Boone randomly doing full backflips out of nowhere and completely eating shit while Stevie Wonder just stands there deadpanning “I didn’t see nothing” took me all the way out.
The fact that they did it twice, and the second time with Cameron Winter looking utterly disgusted at the piano, is comedic timing at its finest. SNL’s holiday fake commercials usually lean on weird song pairings, but turning Boone’s obsession with stage gymnastics into a recurring physical comedy bit is unhinged brilliance.
Which unhinged pairing in this lineup actually made you laugh the hardest? Because Yoko screeching over Kate Bush was a very close second
