The Supreme Court granted @TheJusticeDept’s stay in revamping the SAVE citizenship verification database, which will allow states to clear the voter rolls of illegal voters. The modified SAVE system allows state and local officials to conduct citizenship verification of registered voters to keep aliens from voting. The Justice Department will continue fighting in court for secure elections. Every American should want this!

Students for Life of America fires a legal shot at the FDA, filing a formal notice of intent to sue the agency over its approval of the abortion pill mifepristone — arguing the FDA never conducted required environmental testing on the drug's potential risks to U.S. waterways and wildlife. The group says the FDA violated the Endangered Species Act by failing to consult federal wildlife protection agencies before approving mifepristone in 2000. SFLA President Kristan Hawkins says the agency now has 60 days to respond before a lawsuit is filed. The notice was timed to land hours before Dr. Heidi Overton's Senate confirmation hearing to lead the FDA.
