For anyone experiencing dark times this quote by Louise Flory always helped me. Remember that it's a miracle that we even exist, we fight for survival and win just to be here. You are capable of beating anything. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
My current gaming rotation, Queen's Domain, Phantom Blade Zero, Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave and Ocarina of Time Remake. All of these are top quality experiences, so far this has been an excellent year for gaming in general IMO
I think I can post this from Queen's Domain without spoiling anything, for those who know, what manor of developer skullduggery is this? It's so damn smart. We need more games like this
Getting further into Queen's Domain and I'm no longer posting any footage because to spoil this would be a crime. The game just did something I really didn't expect. This isn't just one of the best games this year, this is one of the best games I've ever played. Phenomenal
Ocarina of Time remake is sublime, it feels amazingly smooth to play and the visuals add so much to the atmosphere, but most importantly the magic of the OG is kept intact. Beautifully done
Queen's Domian has amazing level design, I'm having so much fun exploring. I find myself totally losing track of time playing it, this is a 10/10 for me so far, it just keeps getting better
I love how Queen's Domain rewards observant players, these skeletons are such a fun idea. There's always something to find in every nook. This game has an amazing map, I've just found a portal to travel between areas and looking at the list there's way more than I expected
When I say the exploration is awesome in Queen's Domain I'm not joking, I haven't seen a game with level design this good in ages. If you see a skeleton corpse check near it for secret passages and check behind bushes, there's so much to find. The movement is excellent too
I'm a few hours in to Queen's Domain now and I can't put it down. Exploration is super rewarding. This is easily one of the best games released this year and sure to become a cult classic
Queen's Domain is fatastic. Exploring and figuring things out is giving me the same vibes I had playing Dark Souls for the first time back when. Every inch feels hard earned and it's so mysterious.
Happy to report my fears about Phantom Blade 0 were unnecessary. With the combat being so flashy I thought it might feel light or disconnected. It doesn't, it feels awesome. Parry timing is very satisfying and it has great feedback. Super smooth and gorgeous looking too
Astral Chain has one of the most interesting combat systems I've encountered, I'm totally addicted. Controlling 2 characters simultaneously sounds like a nightmare but it's so intuitive and smooth to play. Loving this game so far. The soundtrack is 馃敟 too
Seeing as it's spooky season I decided to play through Iron Lung. The fact I've seen many streamers playthroughs and I'm pretty desensitised to horror at this point and yet this was still a nail biting experience tells you how good it is. A masterclass in design, outstanding
