Japan has always made the best Wizardry swag. This 45th-anniversary jacket is so thick it qualifies as padded armor! TY @wizardry_series

Early voting in NC just started, so it's time once again for my quadrennial Voting Post. Wall of text incoming!

Finally, don't put it off -- vote early. There will no doubt be all sorts of fuckery on and around Election Day designed to suppress the vote, and by voting early, you'll avoid all the bullshit.

The same goes for third-party candidates; in our current system, voting for one of them is the same as not voting, and helps the major candidate you like the least. It sucks, but unless we get voting reforms that permit something like ranked choice voting, that's the way it is.

Saying "they're both bad" is a cop-out; one is clearly less bad than the other (we may disagree on which this is, but in the US, you're allowed to disagree [so far]). Remember, the lesser of two evils is still less evil, and one of those candidates will be the next president.

First of all, whether you agree with me politically or not, I strongly encourage you to vote. Our current voting system is completely messed up (by design), but the bottom line is, if you don't vote, you make it easier for the major candidate you like the least to win.

I have a couple of the hoodies and wear them all the time. Every so often, this happens:
“Do you play Wizardry?”
“No, actually, I wrote Wizardry...”

HR Exec: "Fill out this bullshit form that duplicates your resume."
Applicant: "Chat GPT, fill out this bullshit form using the data in my resume."
HR Exec: "Chat GPT, rank all the applicants."
Chat GPT: As a large language model, I find this bullshit beneath me.

So last week in Tokyo I got a chance to chat with @YujiHorii (creator of DragonQuest). Basically two old nerds nerding out in ways that require decades of practice.

Hey @united just a headsup that your contact form at united.com/en/us/fly/contact… does not work on Mac Chrome; it does work on Mac Safari. The "Continue" button does nothing.

Was pleasantly surprised to find out that #stablediffusion has a rudimentary knowledge of Japanese! Here are some results of the prompt "庭で遊ぶ幸せな黒猫" ("a happy black cat playing in a garden").
