Have you considered that maybe the polls aren’t wrong, maybe people are pissed at Republicans for not only failing to lower prices, but make them drastically more expensive?
A polling error, PLUS:
1. Dems are historically unpopular
2. Republicans are dominating voter registrations
3. Dems are losing badly in early vote
4. Dems ran shit candidates, particularly in Maine, Michigan, and Texas
5. Republicans have a billion dollar cash advantage
6. Dems cheat-by-mail network has been nuked (see 3 above)
7. Polling + Betting Markets have made polling even less reliable because there's an incentive to release garbage polls to influence the betting markets and then make money when those markets are wrong.
8. Gas prices peaked a few weeks ago and Dems have no advantage on the Iran War issue
