OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 8TH, 2026 TOPIC: HE NEEDS YOUR MOUTH MEMORISE: "How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?" - Romans 10:14 KJV READ: MARK 16:14-17 KJV 14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen. 15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; MESSAGE: God wants the whole world to hear about Him. He wants unbelievers to become born again and experience His love 1 Timothy 2:3-4. However, He does not preach sermons; hence, He needs people who will go into the world and preach the gospel. In Acts 9:4-5, Paul was on his way to Damascus when he had an encounter with Jesus. However, Jesus still needed someone to preach the gospel to Paul and lead him to salvation; hence, He appeared to Ananias in a vision and instructed him on where to meet Paul Acts 9:10-11. Today's memory verse says that people cannot hear the gospel or believe in Jesus Christ unless someone preaches to them. Jesus commissioned ALL His followers to preach the gospel Matthew 28:19-20, so you do not have any tenable excuse not to preach. Jeremiah 1:7 says, "...Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak." The Lord needs you to use your mouth to introduce Him to the world. God also needs you to use your mouth to heal the sick and cast out demons. In Matthew 10:8, the Bible says, "Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give." He also needs your mouth to intercede on behalf of your nation. In Ezekiel 22:30, God said that He sought a man to stand in the gap for the land so that He wouldn't destroy it; unfortunately, He found none. I pray that you will not be found missing when God is seeking someone to stand in the gap for your nation. God needs your mouth to praise Him. Hebrews 13:15 instructs us to offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually. In Luke 19:35-40, when Jesus entered Jerusalem on a donkey, the whole multitude of disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works they had seen. With their mouths, they proclaimed, "Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest." When the Pharisees asked Jesus to stop the people from praising, He told them that if people refused to praise Him, the stones would cry out in praise immediately. I pray that stones will not replace you in praising God, in Jesus' Name. KEY POINT: God needs your mouth to fulfil His purposes on earth. 🙏❤️ GOOD MORNING | SUNDAY MORNING PRAYER ❤️🙏 Almighty God, we thank You for the gift of another Sunday morning. Thank You for waking us up, for the breath of life, and for Your unfailing love that has carried us through every season. Lord, we acknowledge that every day we are given is a blessing, and we never want to take Your goodness for granted. 🙌✨ Father, as we begin this beautiful Sunday, cleanse our hearts, renew our spirits, and draw us closer to You. May Your presence fill our homes and Your peace rule our hearts. Bless everyone going to church today; may our worship strengthen our faith and bring glory to Your name. Protect our families, heal those who are sick, comfort those who are grieving, and provide for everyone facing financial difficulties. Remember those who are silently fighting battles and give them the strength to keep going. Lord, forgive our mistakes and help us become better people. Remove bitterness, jealousy, fear, and negativity from our hearts. As we prepare for another week, grant us wisdom, new opportunities, good health, and the courage to pursue our dreams. May this Sunday bring answered prayers, spiritual growth, happiness, and unexpected blessings. Let Your goodness and mercy follow us today and always. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Good morning and happy Sunday. Father, some people are quietly approaching the end of their strength. They have responsibilities they cannot abandon, dreams they cannot bury and problems they cannot tell everyone about. Please don't let them break under the weight of everything they are trying to hold together. Give them a reason to keep believing, a hand when they need support and a breakthrough that changes the direction of their lives IJN 👏🏼
