An interesting figure I neglected to mention on the Night Owls Israeli election recap is Moshe Feiglin. Feiglin was the New York Times designated far-right boogeyman before Ben-Gvir, Bennett, and Lieberman. He led a faction within Likud called "Jewish Leadership" which opposed Netanyahu from the right. He was known mainly for two things: constantly praising Hitler and his proposal to liquidate the Israeli defense budget and instead use it to bribe every Palestinian into leaving the West Bank and Gaza. Bibi kept rigging internal party elections against Feiglin and he got tired of that and eventually formed his own party called Zehut ("Identity") which is a libertarian party which mostly campaigns on marijuana legalization. Zehut has never made it into the Knesset but this year they made an alliance with the Religious Zionism Party (the more moderate of Likud's two far-right allies) and he will probably get back in that way
