I do wonder why they never added the locking, I suppose to prevent visual clutter for teammates but then they could just make a toggle to enable the locking individually (a person could only ping 1 gadget at a time anyway).
The new Rainbow Six: Siege gadget pinging system seems pretty close to finished! - You can ping enemy & friendly gadgets - Enemy gadgets show up as red, friendly as blue - You can lock onto a gadget (so it doesn't dissapear) - Crosshair appears in center

I don't think a lot of people truly realize how bad the Siege cheating situation is right now. Cheaters pull/buy high-level accounts with normal stats and proceed to closet with walls. Practically 0 risk of getting banned because they are using DMA. 🧵1/4

The DMA cheating community keeps expanding as the entry price keeps dropping. DMA used to be a hefty entry at around $300. Nowadays you can get in starting around $75. 3/4

And the “secure boot” measures they claim to be taking are basically useless. Siege has no kernel anti-cheat aside from BattlEye (which doesn’t even do secure boot checks). Not long from now the cheater:legit ratio will be abysmal. Siege might need a community anticheat. 4/4

I feel like ranked 2.0 should be scrapped. It has no relation to skill, my idea: swap the ranked 2.0 system to casual (so there's more incentive to play casual) and make ranked the old system again.

New security update, "developed over the past months", and then proceeds to lock legit players out of the game, amazing development skills there.

Everyone thinking sending a detailed report to the Ubisoft Support Twitter works miracles. Meanwhile all of the players being reported are full on rage cheaters shooting headshots that will be taken out by the algorithm anyway. Try banning a closet cheater like that, I'll wait.

I'm seeing lots of tweets going around of people thinking accounts < lvl 50 are able to play ranked. This is false. This is a mistake of the tracking websites you are using, not of Ubisoft. r6db.net is an example of a tracker that can show you the real level.

For your information, when you try to matchmake for ranked on an account that does not meet the requirements (2FA, Level 50), your matchmaking request will be denied.

I cannot comment on the question if it is me who is holding the game up or not. What I can do is help Ubisoft fix this issue. If an R6 programmer/API dev contacted me I would be happy to help with this, and other issues.

Lots of Siege's current issues are caused by mistakes made in Alpha, maybe the game does need a complete recode. But that doesn't fix everything, there are a lot of issues with new code aswell (think about the new duplicate operator bug, and more).

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to put all the blame on the programmers. There is obviously some thorough QA testing missing aswell, or perhaps lack of communication between the testers and the programmers. But a lot of issues should've never happened had they paid attention.

All it took was the entire community to explode for me to finally get banned 💀😆

Hyper Scape had so much potential, it's a shame it got washed away so quickly. It did a lot of stuff better (and faster) than the R6 dev team, a notable thing is that they did literally base it off an old R6 build, they even kept R6 specific class names.

Hello @TeamYouTube, could you DM me regarding fake takedown notices being made across multiple different Rainbow Six: Siege content creators please?

An average of 13 profiles are banned per hour (~312 per day) on @Rainbow6Game, these bans are BattlEye, Cheating (statistic based), Toxic Behaviour and DDoS bans. With a total amount of bans at 18318 since January 15th. You can't say cheaters aren't being addressed. @TheGodlyNoob
