Why do City fans fall for this Every.Single.Time ---- May 2014 Shortly after our 2nd Premier league win in 2012 City success looking sustained... -City charged with FFP breaches - City settled to call a close on charges ----- 2014-2017 relative barren spell, no charges. ------ May 2018 Premier league, Charity Shield & league cup winners Nov 2018 Der Spiegel football leaks Mar 2019 UEFA formal investigation announced ------ May 2019 Premier League, FA Cup & League cup domestic treble Feb 2020 City transfer & European ban announced ----- Jan 2023 City looking on course for the treble including Champions league win Feb 2023 City charged with FFP 115 charges June 2023 City win European treble ----- May 2024 City win Premier League Sep-Dec 2024 Premier League hearing held ----- May 2025 May 2026 No Premier league wins, City charges all quiet ----- Sep 2026 City massively strong transfer window, Top of league and 7 wins out of 7 United football dire and financially in the doldrums... CITY GUILTY OF 115 Rinse and Repeat every single time. Yet still, we've never been formally found guilty of ANYTHING! Keep calm City and carry on winning!!
Just as Manchester City sit top of the Premier League table and everyone’s buzzing, they drop that City have been found guilty. It’s no coincidence. This is what they do whenever the club is in good spirit. Still waiting on the appeal.

Exactly this, why ruin the jig for end of a massive tail on an even bigger dog? Why in a country that would chop your hand off for stealing an Apple would the powers that be keep Khaldoon and Sorriano in post… even after an alleged fraud on a gargantuan scale? And that’s even…

This stupidest point I see in discussion at the moment is "you signed up for the rules so you agreed" Firstly, clubs vote on rules. They can vote no and still play. Second, what's the alternative? Kill your business on principle? There's not an alternative PL you can move to.

🚨🔵Ferran Soriano On Manchester City Financial Breaches.‼️ 🗣️Soriano: "Let us strip away the romanticism for a moment and speak the cold, unvarnished truth about these so-called financial breaches. When we arrived in Manchester, the doors to the VIP room of European football were firmly padlocked from the inside by a self-appointed cartel of legacy clubs." 🗣️"Their definition of 'Financial Fair Play' was never about sustainability; it was a protectionist racket, a bureaucratic moat designed specifically to pull up the drawbridge and ensure no new enterprise could ever disrupt their monopoly on trophies." 🗣️"They call our methods financial doping. I call it aggressive venture capitalism applied to a stagnant, aristocratic market." 🗣️"Did we stretch the fabric of their regulations? Of course we did. You do not build a global entertainment empire by respectfully asking the old guard for permission to sit at their table. You buy the restaurant and you rewrite the menu." 🗣️"The 115 charges leveled against us are not an indictment of our integrity; they are a monument to the establishment's absolute terror. They are the panicked, itemized receipts of a system that realized far too late that we possessed superior imagination, superior lawyers, and an utterly bottomless appetite for systemic supremacy." 🗣️"Do you honestly believe a project of this magnitude, meticulously engineered across multiple continents, is going to be undone by the archaic spreadsheets of a few terrified executives in London? We didn't break the rules of football; we exposed them for the fragile, hypocritical guidelines they always were." 🗣️"We are not apologizing for accelerating the future, nor will we beg forgiveness for outsmarting a regulatory body that was actively weaponized against us." 🗣️"In fifty years, no one will remember the Premier League’s profit and sustainability footnotes. They will only study Manchester City as the definitive, ruthless blueprint of modern sporting dominance. We didn't just play their game better than them. We bought the board, we changed the rules, and we won." 🗣️"Let them cry over the dice."🔥👀

Some might wonder why I seem okay with Man City escaping punishment. I’m not if I’m honest, I’m as fuming as every other fan. But I was fortunate enough to watch Everton lift titles. My kids haven’t, and under current PSR rules, they never will. I want real change, and if dismantling these rules means bringing the league down, so be it. If City getting off forces a fairer system where clubs like Everton can actually compete again, that’s a price I’m willing to pay. 🔵

🚨🎙️ Vincent Kompany on the Manchester City situation: “Honestly, I’m speechless. I don’t even know what to say because, deep down, I never imagined I would see Manchester City in a situation like this. When I was playing for this club, I saw first-hand the work, the sacrifices, the dedication and everything that went into building what Manchester City became. That is why this news is extremely difficult for me to take in. My heart goes out to the fans because I know how much this club means to them. I can only imagine what they are feeling right now. This is not the kind of news any of us expected, and I understand the disappointment, the fear and the uncertainty that many supporters are going through. But please, stay calm. I know that’s easier said than done, but we have to believe that there is still a process to go through. The appeal is there, and I sincerely hope it brings positive news and gives every Manchester City supporter something to smile about again. For now, I think we have to be patient, stay united and wait to hear from the club and its owners. We have been through difficult moments before, and football can change very quickly. So to every City fan feeling hurt right now: don’t lose hope. Let’s wait for the appeal, let’s wait for the final outcome, and let’s continue to stand together. 💙 Keep believing. Keep supporting. Manchester City will always be Manchester City.” 🔵⚪️

Money earned from sponsorship deals between 2009 to 2018: Arsenal £724m Spurs £900m Man City £949.94m Manchester United £1.03B Liverpool £1.1B Chelsea £1.2B So why is Manchester City the only club whose sponsorship finances are under this level of scrutiny? I'm just asking questions 😂

I've had the best time tonight on X. I can safely say no matter the out come of the witch hunt against our fantastic club a majority of City's fans are the most grounded supporters around. Our rival fans really need to collectively get a life. Nite Blues City til we die 🩵

Arsenal did not fail PSR due interest free loans from their shareholders ! Let’s strip them of all recent trophies, oh wait, they didn’t win any 😂 So relegation it is then !!!

The UAE owners have invested billions into Manchester and have helped transform the local economy, creating thousands of jobs and opportunities for people. The Etihad Campus alone has supported around 14,000 jobs, with the latest £300m+ development expected to create another 2,600 jobs. So if the Premier League thinks it can push Manchester City into a situation where the owners pull back their investment, a lot of people are going to feel it. Workers will lose jobs. Businesses will lose customers. The local economy will lose billions in investment. This isn't just about football anymore. Keep playing with 115 if you want. Just remember that there are real people and real jobs behind that investment.

Good to see I thought Steve was faltering at one point. We need fans like him to lead, they're more influential than they realise. Good on him.
🚨 A Message From Big Steve: 🎙"#ManCity fans all across the world. This is the wake-up call you need to not fall for the BULLISH*T.. Don't get drawn into a media slagging match. It DOESN'T MATTER!! Now is the time we STICK TOGETHER. Now is the time we all PULL TOGETHER!!" 🩵

If other clubs are forced to sell their best players simply to comply with PSR, the more useful question is why the Premier League is not being pressed over a system that limits fresh investment and keeps the competitive order largely closed. Manchester City are not only fighting for themselves but also for the 16 other clubs which lack the inherited revenue and commercial base of the traditional clubs.
