Here’s a video of the wasp carrying the grasshopper. She moves fast so I tried to slow it down near the end. 😃
I came across this female Prionyx today carrying a grasshopper back to her nest.
She paralyzes the grasshopper and takes it back to her nest to provide food for her young.
She’ll lay an egg with it, and once the egg hatches, the larva will feed on the grasshopper.
Nature is awesome!
