After three less successful culinary attempts, I am back in the game.
Just don't tell the family that the Guinness I found in the fridge was 8 months past the BBE date.

So you now need an Explorer Pass - 99p a month - to access the previously free CAMRA Good Beer Guide Pubs Web Page - which replaced the previously free app?
Enshitification in action.
Back to the book.
Or maybe commit to Tim Tokens.

Proper red letter day.
Corporately entertained, go 2-0 down, come back with a last minute winner.
Met Peter Odemwingie.
And the starter chutney was made with @thebathams
What a time to be alive!
Apologies for my big red face.

Visit Worcestershire promoting a pub crawl in Bewdley. It's been running 6 weeks but I was still one of the first 250 to get a free beer.
No hardship to finish at the Black Boy.

Fakeaway fail..... Hong Kong Garden have nothing to fear from my chow mein attempt.
Not enough flavour or crunch and to top it all, got leftovers for tomorrow's walk.

Church crawling on a 7 mile butterfly walk between Grafton Flyford and Himbleton, Worcs.
Himbleton has Elizabeth I cost of arms on the chancel wall suggesting a previous visit.
There are no butterflies in October 🤣

Lovely 100 mile train journey from Lecce to the Bari coast for £25 for 2.
We appear to be in the seaside town they forget to knock down but if we get bored, we can stay in listening to the horny couple* upstairs.
3 goes already and it's not even teatime.
* Assume it's 2

Leece a maze of narrow streets. If it wasn't for Google maps, we'd be forced to live out the rest of our days here.
Directions, such as "turn left at the church" are pointless.

Most wonderful meal out in Lecce. Waddled home, stuffed to the gills.
50 Euro for two with wine.
Not a food influencer, so make do with my pre-dinner beer.

Train from Bari to Polignano a Mare, in the armpit of a Puglian, sharing a bike rack. Avanti are forgiven.
Beautiful place.
Steaks come with uncooked mushrooms. No chips.

The new Irvine Welsh book is a bit of a mess - as explained in the acknowledgements.
Which also points to an extraordinary film - Accelerate or Die.
I strapped in and enjoyed the ride.
