MY VISIT TO THE MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA Today, I honoured the invitation of the newly inaugurated President of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), Dr. Eric Okoye, and other former Presidents of the Association to attend his inauguration ceremony at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos. On the sidelines of the event, I interacted with the new President and members of MAN and reiterated the enormous potential of Nigeria’s manufacturing sector. With the right government policies, an enabling business environment, and stronger collaboration between the public and private sectors, Nigeria can significantly increase the contribution of manufacturing to our GDP. Manufacturing currently contributes about 7.5% of Nigeria’s GDP, compared with about 14% in Egypt, 15% in Morocco, 25% in Vietnam, 19% in Indonesia, and 20% in Bangladesh We must therefore deliberately move from a consumption-driven economy to a productive economy, one that produces, creates jobs, adds value and competes successfully in the global market. A stronger manufacturing sector will expand employment opportunities, strengthen our productive capacity, reduce our dependence on imports, increase exports, and improve the standard of living of our people. I congratulate the new President and his team and wish them a successful and productive tenure. I look forward to continued engagement with the manufacturing sector as we work towards building a more productive and prosperous Nigeria. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

I’m going to be “home based” in phyno’s voice💃.
If you guys know how my belle is sweeting me that I’ll soon be living in Aba, which is close to Imo, so I can quickly get to my village whenever I want. Truly getting older comes with different needs and priorities. If someone ever told me I’ll one day crave being close enough to attend village meetings and other things that I’m now interested in I no for believe.

It is a conditioning oil, so what it reliably gives is less breakage and more shine. That is what helps hair hold on to the length it already has.

Everyone knows of somebody in their late 20s/30s - without a job, still living with their parents. Not only do they not have jobs, most have no job prospects. It is bad enough in Lagos, but in cities like Enugu, it is a lot worse. Nothing is happening. This breeds intense despair; the kind of despair driving people to cross the Sahara. The Western Far Right focuses exclusively on "illegal migrants will destroy Western Christian Civilization" - they can afford to; the despair felt by Nigerian/African youth driven by double digit unemployment is not their problem, but it is your problem. Vote wisely. You have only yourselves to save your present and future.

My Visit to the Nigerian Air Force Facility Further to my message yesterday, I visited the Nigerian Air Force facility in Abuja today to formally sign the condolence register following the unfortunate aircraft crash. The visit gave me another opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices made daily by the men and women of our Armed Forces and other security agencies in the line of duty. These courageous Nigerians put their lives on the line to defend our nation and protect our people. We must never take their service and sacrifice for granted. I extend my deepest condolences to the Nigerian Air Force and to the families, colleagues, and loved ones of those who lost their lives. May God grant eternal rest to the departed and give their families the strength and fortitude to bear this painful loss. May God continue to protect all those who serve our country. -PO

Nigerians, please watch, I beg us.
Let me make something clear. If Nigerians are truly ready, everyone who participated in that march should head straight to this office today, unseal it and occupy it let's see who'll go and move them. These people keep picking people off one by one because we lack the concept of group action. If we leave this man to battle this illegal consequence alone, we would have failed him, and it'll signal to others like him who would ordinarily organise similar marches to back off as they'll be left on their own if the government victimises them. Screenshot this post and send it to your Delta state Obidient and NDC groups. Action needs to be taken

The rent in this state is costlier than 50% of Italian cities. No, I'm not exaggerating. In fact, the price of houses in this state competed shoulder to shoulder with American cities. This dungyard. This clueless moron @tokunbo_wahab is only obsessed with social media wars.

This is why the Nigerian society is the way it is, a society that based its policy "on those who can afford" wont make significant progress, if we dont kill this 'i better pass my neighbour' mentality we are not making progress.
