Tonight, we had the privilege of celebrating the outstanding educators who represent the very best of Henry County Schools. Congratulations to @ArmsJags's Tierra Rodgers, our 2026 District Teacher of the Year! Your commitment to students, leadership in the classroom, and dedication to the teaching profession make a lasting difference in our schools and community.
Thank you to all of our educators for your dedication, influence, and unwavering commitment to building bright futures for Henry County students.

✏️ Writing in Action! Ms. Swint’s 1st grade scholars are working toward MASTERY one sentence at a time! It’s a little easier when you have the right tools—like individual anchor charts right at your fingertips! Small tools ➡️ BIG learning! @QuaviousWright@dr_tiffanyl@BCE_HCS
📚✨ Curriculum Night was a SUCCESS! 💙💚 We loved connecting with our families, hearing your feedback, exploring clubs, and sharing a day in the life of our Blue Jays! 🐦🎉 #BlueJayNation
Another success CBPL. A huge thank you to the HCPS ELA team for trusting me with leading this topic about previewing text to improve literacy. We had some great engagement. ✨😄

I am so grateful to have the opportunity to present on the ELA Instructional Framework as we enter into SY 26-27. I saw some familiar faces and met some new people. I hope everyone feels as prepared as I do for this year!
The Before and After School Enrichment (BASE) Program provides tuition-based programs for elementary and middle school students. Before-school programs support early drop-off for middle school families and provide a safe, structured environment to prepare students for learning. After-school programs offer elementary-aged students a safe and supportive environment following afternoon dismissal. For more information, visit bit.ly/HCSBASE.
