Also I believe I’m owed an apology for all the hell y’all gave me back in early July for supporting @AbdulElSayed.

I wonder if “pulling a Haley Stevens” is about to enter Michigan’s political vocabulary. Refusing to support your party’s nominee is one thing. Publicly endorsing their opponent is another. Will this become the new shorthand for abandoning party unity when a primary doesn’t go your way?

Congresswoman Stevens is not a current member of the Michigan Democratic Party, nor will she be in the future.

Maybe this is the unity the Democratic Party in Michigan needed all along.
Haley Stevens has officially endorsed Mike Rogers for U.S. Senate. After years of telling progressive voters to put aside their differences and support Democratic nominees, this hypocrisy deserves an explanation. Whatever happened to “vote blue no matter who”? Apparently, party unity comes with exceptions. This is bullshit of the highest degree.

Everyone who endorsed Andy Levin from the 2022 Primary has been so vindicated, we might as well been baptized this morning.😂

Since my health seems to become a topic of conversation every time I’m on TV, I figured I’d offer a quick update and put some concerns to rest. Since July, I’m down 40 pounds, my latest bloodwork is within normal ranges, and I’m making great progress with my health. To those who’ve expressed genuine concern, I sincerely appreciate you. To those looking for a cheap shot at my expense, I couldn’t give a fat rat’s ass what you think. I’m doing well, taking care of myself, and that’s what matters.

I would love to see if someone studies the present “denounce culture” in current politics. There’s a very interesting pattern of application going on there.

To quote the great @MalloryMcMorrow, “I don’t know what the hell Haley Stevens is doing.” She’s not doing very well with her “I’m on the team” rhetoric. If her goal is to preserve a chance at a future in Michigan democratic politics, she’s heading in the opposite direction.

MAGA stands against so much of what Democrats claim to believe in. If Mike Rogers becomes my senator for SIX YEARS with help from Democrats, I swear to the Lord’s sweet baby Black Jesus, I’ll become a menace and party leaders shouldn’t be surprised if younger voters start questioning where they belong.

I believe in welcoming Republicans who’ve reconsidered their political beliefs, just as I believe in holding Democrats accountable when their political choices contradict the principles they claim to stand for. People should be allowed to grow, change their minds, and find common ground, but accountability shouldn’t disappear simply because someone’s political decisions are convenient to us. We can’t demand compromise and solidarity from others while refusing to extend those same principles when things don’t go our way. Political growth deserves grace. Political choices still deserve scrutiny. Both can be true.

I haven’t forgotten the heartbreak, anger, and sense of betrayal so many felt on Election Night in 2024. For some, it was more than disappointment. It was genuine fear for the future. Whatever your politics, please don’t take your voice for granted. Make a plan. Show up. VOTE.

Genuine question for those who argued during the 2024 election that Kamala Harris would be “just as bad” as Donald Trump: Looking at everything that’s happened since January 2025, do you still believe that? If so, what specific policies or actions support that comparison? I promise this is not a rage bait, I’m honestly curious.

I’m gonna start assigning people from the Annoying Orange administration nicknames based on the 7 Dwarves. Any thoughts on who should be given which name?

Vivek Ramaswamy using Amy Acton’s estranged birth mother to attack her credibility after she survived horrific childhood abuse is absolutely fucking disgusting. There’s hardball politics, and then there’s weaponizing someone’s trauma for political gain. Have some goddamn decency.

A quick thought from me on why people don’t vote: Voter suppression: “I want to vote, but they’re making it harder.” Political apathy: “There’s an election? Anyway…” Political disillusionment: “I’ve voted, I’ve listened to the promises, and I’m still waiting for this shit to change.” Three different problems. Learn the difference.
