Lee Anderson is spot on.
Let’s put this £36m Reform donation into perspective.
Since 2021, the Conservatives have raised around £150m and Labour around £128m, compared with Reform’s roughly £38m before this donation.
Labour also received £4m from Quadrature Capital, whose parent company is registered in the Cayman Islands.
The Conservatives received £20m from Frank Hester and his company.
So despite all the noise about Reform’s £36m, we’re not even close to levelling the playing field with the two main parties.
And we’re not stopping here. We intend to raise much more.
Britain faces what we believe is a national economic and illegal-migration emergency. Taking that on requires the organisation, people and resources to compete with the political establishment across the country.
Labour and the Tories have had years of huge donations and deep pockets. Now Reform starts catching up and suddenly big donations are a problem?
We’re here to level the playing field and we’re only getting started.
Same rules. Same scrutiny. No hypocrisy.
Here's the full facts Stella.
