🚨 BREAKING: Alabama prosecutors are seeking the death penalty for all eight people charged in the torture and execution of 20-year-old Mahogany Jackson in Birmingham. Jackson was handcuffed, stripped, and subjected to hours of abuse that the suspects filmed. She texted family early on February 25 that she was being held hostage. Video later showed her being stomped on, spit on, dragged naked by her hair toward a car trunk, and forced to perform sex acts at gunpoint. She was shot in the back of the head and her body dumped at a site known locally as “Dead Man’s Road.” The eight indicted on capital murder, kidnapping, and sodomy: Giovonnie Clapp, Blair Green, Teja Lewis, Si’Niya McCall, Airana Robinson, Brandon Pope, Francis Harris, and Jeremiah McDowell. Veteran investigators called it one of the most gruesome cases they’ve ever seen. Prosecutors are moving forward with no mercy. My son is a senior in high school who works thirty hours a month at a sporting goods retailer. He submitted a written time-off request four weeks in advance for his high school graduation ceremony and family dinner. The supervisor signed the paper and pinned it to the bulletin board. When the weekly roster was posted, the store manager had scheduled him for a closing shift right through the exact hours of his graduation ceremony. When my son brought the signed approval sheet to the manager’s desk, the man shrugged and said: "Business needs change. If you don't show up for your shift, consider it job abandonment. In the real world, you learn that your job comes before personal plans." My son sat in the car in our driveway, completely defeated, genuinely believing he had to choose between walking across the graduation stage or keeping his job. I walked into the store with him, found the manager, and had my son hand over his nametag and uniform shirt on the spot. I looked the manager in the eye and said: "In the real world, you are a retail manager attempting to manipulate a teenager into missing a once-in-a-lifetime milestone he worked twelve years to earn, all to fold sweatpants on a Friday evening. His resignation is effective immediately." The manager stammered, turned red, and started offering to find shift coverage on the spot. We walked out. Teach your children early: an hourly job that demands you sacrifice your education, your milestones, and your self-worth does not value you as a human being. Never let an entry-level supervisor convince your child that their future is negotiable.

A husky was found dead, hanging in an alley in Lynwood, California. LASD dispatch says animal control responded to Magnolia Ave on Oct. 4. No arrests. Nobody will ever say this guy didn't "look like a pedo." He called himself a "closet pedophile." He told who he thought was a father that he wanted to have sex with the man's 11 year old stepdaughter. He served about 5 years. Now he's been arrested again. Ronald Jay Fleet, 73, of Charles City County, Virginia, was booked Oct. 8. He's charged with 4 counts of possessing child sexual abuse material and 2 counts of failing to register as a sex offender. He's being held without bond. This isn't his 1st time. In 2008 and 2009, Fleet chatted online with an undercover FBI agent posing as a dad with an 11-year-old stepdaughter. According to the statement of facts he signed, Fleet: * Called himself a "closet pedophile" * Sent dozens of images of child sexual abuse, some showing children as young as 3 * Said he wanted to meet the little girl for sex * Talked about booking a trip to see her, then hoped to "reschedule" for Christmas CBP officers arrested him at the Canadian border in 2009. He was charged with distribution and attempted enticement of a minor. The enticement charge alone carries a 10 year mandatory minimum. It was dropped in a plea deal. He pleaded guilty to one count and got 6 years. With credit for time served and good behavior, he walked out of federal prison in February 2015. 11 years later, he's back in handcuffs. Men like this don't stop. A man who tried to arrange sex with a child should never see daylight again.
