To mark The Duke of Edinburgh’s 100th Birthday a tree has been planted in each of the 10 boroughs of GM. I attended the planting at Manor Academy in Sale. A beautiful event. Organised by @GMLO_UK Trees across GM donated by @CityofTreesMcr@DofEGMTeam
A very poignant morning.
Firstly I attended a very much reduced service at Trafford Town Hall.
Then I laid wreaths at 4 cenotaphs across the Borough.
So sad that there were so few people in attendance at each cenotaph #WeWillRememberThem

On Sunday 58 amazing trekkers completed the Yorkshire 3 Peaks -24 miles & 3 mountains- & in the process raised almost £45,000 of much needed funds for The Fed. For most it was hard & completely out of their comfort zone
