It feels almost like I must be off my head to think that it was OK to be sanding filler in patches on my bedroom wall at 11pm last night.
It stopped me winding down, I over exerted, had extra night-sweats effecting my sleep quality and this morning Iām tremmoring inside.

My brain gets hi-jacked, it feels good to be attending to things, I am sick of not being able to do things, the physical feedback is appreciated, the brain is likely running slower with cognitive impairment ie brain fog and less quick to realise what Iām doing to myself.

Didnāt know some research suggests autism symptoms can increase over time in autoimmunity. As my ME progressed I felt like I became neurodivergent. Looking back it seems I always was and have now been dx with ASD. When my ME is worse ASD symptoms increase eg sensory sensitivity.
There is mounting evidence autism is driven by mitochondrial dysfunction. This may explain the higher prevalence of autism in autoimmune dz, PAIS & MECFs. & why some research suggests autism symptoms can increase over time in autoimmunity.
