I got a commendation in a major journalism award and was chuffed to bits about it. I had a rough couple of years before trying to get back in the game and do what I love the most. The faith that @BusinessDesk_NW .com have shown in me has been awesome.

Simon Heffer’s final pars in his review of Liz Truss’ new book. Of all the best examples of the Westminster unreality machine, where parts of the illiberal metropolitan elite and press build someone up clearly beyond their abilities, she was by far the worst. Zero accountability, of course.

‘Of all the books I have ever reviewed that purported to offer a serious thesis, this is without question the most deranged.’ Simon Heffer gives zero stars to a ‘preposterous’ rant by a crank conspiracy theorist who for a few days was once PM, @trussliz. telegraph.co.uk/books/non-fi…

Even by the standards of the Trump administration, this is staggering.

Not true. Fiona Bruce and the team have always made clear that Question Time has robust vetting procedures in place. Everyone who applies to be in the audience is interviewed and has to provide links to their social media accounts. If they don't - they don't get in.
BBC bias knows no bounds. The TV license is a scam. Reform UK will scrap it. ✅

So.... £2,485 on glasses for a PM was "sleaze rotting our politics to the core" but £72,000,000 in a single day for Nigel Farage is celebrated as hitting "the jackpot" and a "war chest..." Whatever is happening here is happening in plain sight. You decide!

If Channel 4 is successful in bringing down both Reform UK and Tommy Robinson, we're going to have to ask some very difficult questions about the BBC, and why its news team failed to use its resources to investigate, scrutinise and challenge the far right, in the way Channel 4 has.

Mail. Telegraph. Express … a political leader they have been campaigning to get in power is to be interviewed by police over corruption allegations. Not a word on their front pages. (Sun not on display at local shop so don’t know about them!) This is the real two tier Britain, the media double standards

One thing I didn’t fully appreciate. The footage with Farage was filmed during the Clacton by-election. The by-election that was literally called in an effort to draw a line under the Reform cash and sleaze narrative.

I, Kevin Rowland (the son of Irish immigrants) and the main songwriter of ‘Come On Eileen,’ am disgusted to learn that Nigel Farage has used our song to make his entrance for his party conference. Myself, and all of Dexys are passionately against Farage’s politics. @ByDonkeys .
