79 yrs ago today the Rs drew 1.1 at home to Watford in front of 4,000 fans. Alec Stock was featured on the programme cover. He left to join @YTFC as player/mgr a few months later before returning to @QPR in 1959 to become an all time great Rangers manager @stocky74 @retroQPR

It was great to see Phil Parkes back in W12 on Saturday and an honour to be asked to interview him by @QPR- he must have signed literally hundreds of autographs. The player of the season in the 1975/6 season - the highest accolade. In Aug 1977 Phil opened his sports shop in W12.

A date for your diaries 🗓 We will be hosting our first-ever History Day and Memorabilia Fair on Sunday 22nd March.
QPR are delighted to announce we will be staging our first ever ‘QPR History Day and Football Memorabilia Fair.’ The event will take place on Saturday 22nd March 2025, from 10.30am to 3pm in the Forever R’s Bar, located in the lower tier of the Loftus Engineering Stand on Loftus Road. As well as having dealers present selling programmes, magazines, handbooks, badges, football shirts, stickers and cards, books and Subbuteo, we will also be celebrating our rich club history. Several authors will join us with their new books, stadium tours will take place and there will also be a presentation on some newly-discovered club history from the Victorian era. The profits from the Fair will go to "Extra Time" - the club's QPR in the Community Trust project which has helped bring many local senior people together since 2009. Admission is only £2, payable in cash or card on the day, and the entrance is via the Loftus Road entrance. More details on the Fair will be publicised in the coming
