The NYT story broke just before she took the stage tonight at a Labor event in Anchorage. Peltola told the crowd she has a "servants heart." Randi Weingarten warmed up the crowd. Shocking video shows the chaos after an SUV slammed into a Metro bus, killing two people and leaving victims scattered across the scene. @MattFinnFNC reports 36-year-old Bailee Lynn Rios has been charged with two counts of second-degree murder and DUI. Prosecutors allege she was impaired when she drove on the wrong side of the road, blew through a red light, and crashed into the bus. The tragedy then took another deadly turn when a news helicopter covering the crash went down in a separate fiery accident, killing three more people. Rios was scheduled to be arraigned but did not appear for medical reasons.
