SNP Ministers have scuppered the Coul Links golf course near Dornoch. A major development that would have added ยฃ12m a year to the local economy of East Sutherland and created 400 new jobs.
Coul Links was overwhelmingly support by the local community. This was the wrong decision and yet another example of Edinburgh Ministers running roughshod over Highland communities.

Lord Frost is right.
Labour want to spin this as a great act of wise benevolence. The very fact it took so long for Jackdaw to be approved is symptomatic of the UKs dysfunctional energy policy. The Norwegians, for example, would never have allowed themselves to be tied up in knots over this.
"The real charge against ministers on the back of the Jackdaw decision is not that they have abandoned their net zero policy. It is that they have not."

MSPs are given public money to run effective parliamentary offices that deliver for local constituents. These funds are not for personal vanity projects, that is why the Public Finance Minister (dealing with a ยฃ5bn deficit) advertising an โartist in residenceโ role smacks of sheer ego and entitlement.

Became a Minister straight after election without passing go. Contributions in the chamber have been full of sanctimony and faux indignation. So no surprise at todayโs Daily Mail splash on her โpersonal artistโ. Does she think sheโs Mary Queen of Scots?

Tonight we broke the cosy system in the Scottish Parliament by forcing a vote on whether an entirely legitimate debate on face coverings should continue.
Only 1 Tory could be bothered to turn up. Reform is the real opposition in this Parliament.
The Holyrood establishment was so scared that they voted to close down my debate on face coverings.
John Swinney had to leave his gin and tonic to rush into the chamber to vote.
Scottish democracy officially died tonight.

I am in politics to stand up for my constituents in the Highlands and Islands; first, last and always.
Today I asked the SNP Minister to confirm that net zero ideology would never again be allowed to delay the vital dualling of the A96 road.
Of course, I didn't get a proper response. Jim Fairlie is clearly taking some lessons from the Stephen Flynn guide to contemptuous answers.

I was pleased to meet with the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland this morning on behalf of @ReformUKScot.
The national church has an important role in providing moral leadership and spiritual succour to the nation. Reform MSPs wish the Kirk well in doing so.
