I used Muse to download my entire facebook wall + gmail connector and then used the prompt "can you analyze EVERYTHING about me in terms of resolvents, transient propagators, structured pseudospectra, controllability spaces, higher-order interactions, and adaptive representations"

so much is invested in the neuroscience of human endstate disease, and so little in the neuroscience of human flourishing (hedonia.kringelbach.org/top-… ) but investment in the groundtruth/EEG biomarkers of human flourishing/"agile mind"/"top performance for non-elite brains" is necessary enabler to *many* other projects (and it's funner) Mb it had to take short ASI/AGI timelines to force near-term investment into the urgency of the "human flourishing project"

I love it how the longest aoe2 mega-campaign now (the one released today) is now over celebrating the adventurous/epic life of one of the biggest losers in history

A simplistic view of pacing is that society can only absorb new information at a certain rate, so generating information beyond that rate is wasteful and distracting. We should be investing far more in proposals and technologies that increase society’s absorptive capacity.

I dont understand how so many people surprisingly enjoyed the cringe some cringe is ok if you have situational awareness about it, but not if you're friends with 4000+ people...

Much of the "misalignment" that was already present in the structure of the universe has already been uncovered in the least damaging way possible with agent swarms (so far) and the discovery of *this* alone should reduce *some* of the future risk of bad outcomes from agent swarms

i just found a major macbook security vulnerability: you need to install outbound firewalls (not just inbound ones) - like mb install lulu, blockblock, nextDNS

Idk what kind of world it is where *both* psychedelics and video games slow brain aging (obviously don't do either in excess, but past a certain level of life experience it is way easier to do too little than too much)

I do think that people should update more from the fact that the people with crazy sounding conceptions of the future keep winning forecasting competitions on AI progress while people with more measured intuitions keep undershooting on hard quantitative benchmarks

It's nice to be less hungry due to tirzepatide - hunger destroys much of the ability for taste/discernment to truly act

The load-bearing way of slowing the aging and microplastic contamination rate of humanity is @usetemi tirzepatide

the strange thing with agents is that all your unread emails you sent to people might... suddenly become read again.
