Yeah he should be alive Also anyone else think Star wars would be a better movie if his ain't and uncle didn't die and Luke could have nice wholesome conversations with them all the time
How would you feel if Pa Kent was alive for Superman: Legacy and forward?

Elon Musk should be treasured. He’s doing so much to make a difference and yet receives constant hate.

The UK was in depression because of the war, they were not tied to the US depression anywhere near as much as in 2008 or currently. That is the whole story...
1
11
Your own source shows that said depression was exasperated by the American great depression. Not to mention, the UK wasn't the only nation that suffered due to Great depression. France, Japan, Germany, Italy, Canada, Australia. All suffered. Your own source disagrees with you
16
Did the US build 33% more housing while people were homeless and couldn't afford homes?
1
19
No, because the focus for America was building public works, not residential housing. Again, the nations did not follow identical trends for recovery. Like again, the sheer amount of cherry picking here is amazing. Please read your own source top to bottom sometime.
1
19
Like, it genuinely is amazing how badly you are cherry picking. Your source OUTRIGHT says the following and you have ignored: -America induced a greater economic decline in Britain -Employment, Foreign trade, food prices and industrial production all were negatively effected
1
9
-Gold standard was in part to blame -Ending gold standard lead to major recovery
5
"New houses built increased by 33% from 1929 to 1933"

19
"Due to the abandonment of the gold standard in 1931 Britain was able to cut interest rates which led to a drop in real interest rates. This drop in interests rates subsequently led to a boom in construction in the south of Britain; stimulating some renewed economic growth"
11
It didn't get worse though, can you read?
1
7
It literally did according to your article
11
The UK was recovering during the US depression...
2
20
Yeah, then it went back in the shit because of it
7
haha the gold standard was abandoned during the war, returning to the gold and silver standard actually improved the currency while they used it.

READ YOUR OWN ARTICLE "Due to the abandonment of the gold standard in 1931 Britain was able to cut interest rates which led to a drop in real interest rates. This droP led to a boom in construction in the south of Britain; stimulating some renewed economic growth"
10
Which had nothing to do with the US and the UK was already in depression from war... which I have now stated 3 times
1
16
Except, again, the US depression just made Britains worse. Just that Britain was already near rock bottom, so its effects were "less visible". Like, your own article shows you are full of shit dude. Please read it
1
21
Yeah, in large part due to the US. Their shitty situation GOT WORSE
1
9
"Because the UK was already in a depression," haha from WW1? Like I actually stated? glad you agree with me then
1
9
Yeah, in regards to the UK, they never left a depression. Rest of the world have recovered, then the great depression hit. Even the UK was made worse because of the great depression. Notice, how abandoning the gold standard universally aided in recovery.

16
" the common person especially in areas around London did not experience major hardship and even prospered."
2
15
"Unemployment reached 70% in some areas at the start of the 1930s (with more than 3 million out of work nationally) and many families depended entirely on payments from local government known as the dole."
1
16
Your point is that the US had huge affects around the world in 1920s when in the UK it had almost no affect? Good point...
1
9
Because the UK was already in a depression, its effects were less visible. Every other nation, Germany, Canada Australia and yes EVEN the UK saw declines due to the great depression. Your own article shows Britain suffered immensely due to it.
