I've got AI agents doing real work for me. Research. Digging up sources. Watching queues while I'm on a call. Sorting and tagging the mess so I can actually find things later. Not chatting for fun. Getting the busywork off my plate. Here's what that looks like day to day. I hand them a job. Pull the background on this. Compare these options. Keep an eye on that queue and ping me if something breaks. They come back with something I can use. I check it, fix what needs fixing, and keep moving. The assembly work shrinks. The decisions stay mine. That used to eat half a morning. Now a lot of it is already sitting there when I sit down. Sources lined up. Options side by side. A first look at ops that doesn't need me staring at the dashboard the whole time. That's what I admire about this tech. Not the speeches. Not the AGI countdown clocks. The fact that it's already useful on a normal workday if you put it on real tasks and hold it to results. I spent years in startups where tools promised leverage and mostly made more meetings. This feels different because I can see the hours come back. Less babysitting every click. More time on the call that actually matters. I think it gets better from here. Cleaner handoffs. Fewer loops where you redo everything yourself. Better judgment on the first look. Same person, more finished work, less grinding through the glue tasks. If you're still only using chat like a smarter search box, you're missing the part that matters. Agents that research, monitor, compare, and keep score while you do something else. That's the advance I can already feel. And it's early.

We are entering a golden age of art, music, film, and shared prosperity. The walls of pessimism will crumble. We will make ordinary what our grandparents thought impossible. We’ve spent enough time preparing for the worst. Choose to dream the extraordinary.

Pyramids stack higher in Sudan than Egypt, with Nubian kings who once flipped the throne. Yet the photos and flights still route to Giza. The gap between what’s actually there and what gets shown says more about the tour script than the sand.
Sudan has more pyramids than Egypt. Around 200 of them at Meroë alone, and the Nubian kings buried there ruled Egypt as the 25th Dynasty for the better part of a century. Most people have never seen a photograph of them. Why does one country's pyramids get all the attention?

The loudest fight over gold and silver is usually on screens. The quieter one is whether the metal is there when someone asks for it. That second part is harder to spin.
Bankers are desperately fighting gold & silver They will lose the war

Books lasted centuries until certain AIs decided the spines were in the way. Buy by the ton, scan, shred. The pattern keeps repeating with fresh warehouses and quiet logistics. Hard to call it progress when the originals that built our knowledge base keep disappearing for good. Do better.
The destruction of one of a kind books should be a crime. We humans are so shortsighted. Cutting up some more books Antropic?

Power has already shifted! The mere fact that regular folks can directly own & self-custody their financial assets WAS the huge shift. People can now walk with their feet! Most will still rely on service providers but the key is that they don’t have to — it’s now their choice. 🙏

Now, more than ever, you should make sure your internet-connected devices remain up-to-date with security patches. This includes your phone, laptop, desktop, router, modem, television, surveillance system, smart watch, smart speaker, smart mattress, smart refrigerator...

That Philly bank is a museum now. New rails are supposed to do the same thing to the next marble halls. The open question is whether power actually spreads or just changes zip codes. Either way, deep gratitude to the work done by @CaitlinLong_ 🫡
The pace of change hitting banking & securities/derivatives via #tokenization is stunning. Prediction: just as this building in Philly became obsolete, the power center of the new world is decentralizing & shifting to places like TX & WY from NYC. This is good for regular folks👏

This Delamarche orrery from around 1785 is a clockwork solar system, and when you drive the mechanism the planets move on their paths so you can watch a year happen without waiting for one.

While everyone keeps selling me AI as a software boom, today’s Brookings paper puts the physical buildout at about $10.3 trillion through 2032, roughly 3.6% of U.S. GDP a year.

Don’t outsource the wanting. Outsource the doing. Never the keys.
"What I should do with agentic AI if it's so great?" An excellent, yet overwhelming question. It's like asking "what should I do with my PC?" or "what should I do with the internet?" Maximizing a tool's usefulness requires understanding its capabilities + creativity. We're in the early days; it will get easier as folks explore, create guides, and build more user friendly software. As I've said before, I think the end result of this stuff is essentially a Star Trek style interface where you simply speak (or think) what you want at a computer and it runs or even builds arbitrarily complex software behind the scenes in order to accomplish a given task.
